Let me explain why Iâm giving them a three. My husband, son, and myself, were driving to Maysville SC to being moving my elderly father into our house. Being on a time schedule, we figured we would stop âreal quickâ at Burger King to get some Oreo shakes. Long story shortâŚhe went in, 20min passâŚthey failed to tell him he needed to order at the kiosk. Another 20min go by, so I walk in, walk up to my husband, and say whatâs on? Youâve been in here over 30min. Before my husband even gets the chance to answer me, one of the employees, Laquisha Johnson, jumps into my conversation and says, âyea, thereâs a wait. Thereâs only 3 of us here, weâre backed up, and him back there is âŚâŚâ Iâm not sure if she said he was slow, or new, or what she said, but either way, it was not only inaudible, but unprofessional and irrelevant. First I wasnât talking to her. I didnât ask her any questions, I didnât look at her, and I wasnât complaining to anyone. Just asking my husband a question. There was only one other person inside, and maybe 5-6 cars on drive through. So, I do understand that they would be a little backed up. Thatâs not my problem. My problem is the fact that this woman waited 20min to tell my husband he needed to use the kiosk to order, that should have been told to him before as soon as he got in line to order. And the fact that Miss Laquisha, felt the need to jump into my conversation unprofessionally and with attitude. I was not in there to complain to them or anything else. She clearly felt like she had to defend or justify why it was taking so long. Like I said before I get it. I am an Assistant Manager at a gas station that has a Subway attached and have been understaffed for months. I know things get backed up and sometimes people arenât as fast or as experienced as others, and I even understand if there is someone working there that may have a disability. However or whatever she said about the man working in the back, I can understand. But if you choose to approach me in anyway, as an employee and representative of Burger King, it should be in a professional way. So my problem is with A. The Employee in charge of the front not telling my husband to order on the kiosk when they looked at him the first time, and the times after (it took them 20min) and B. Unless I come in and ask to speak to someone, please donât jump into a conversation between customers, and if you do, it should be in a professional manner. Not rude, defensive, and aggressive. I apologize for the long review, however I know some people come on here and just write out what they are feeling at that moment and sometimes it may not fully be accurate. But I thought this through, and wanted to make sure I put exactly why I rated them as a three and exactly what took place to make me choose that. The review is based solely on that one employee and her actions. I can say, the shakes were great, as they should be after a 40min...
Read moreWORST Burger King I have ever eaten at, and I've been to them all over the country. I've only eaten at this location maybe 3-5 times over the past 4 years but the experience the other day was a huge HEALTH ISSUE.
For starters, this is the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to (followed closely by Hardees and Sonics on Garners Ferry). Every time, and I do mean EVERY time the service is extremely slow. Whether they have 1 customer or 20, you will be waiting forever for your food.
The food is almost always cold, hard, and NASTY flavor. It's practically guaranteed. Even their shakes and ice's are disgusting.
If you are unfortunate enough to get your food from here, you'll probably have a mistaken order and have items missing or the wrong items.
Now for what made me finally write a review about them...
I went on 3/31 and what do you think happened? Everyone has those burger king coupons, so they actually were busy. They can't handle when there's more than 1-2 customers ordering, so how do you think they handled 20? The wait time was literally over 30 minutes for FAST FOOD!
When I finally got my food, guess what? They had my order wrong. I had to go inside (I ordered at drive-thru) and guess what now? I LITERALLY SAW FOOD, GARBAGE, ETC ON THE FLOORS BEHIND THE COUNTER BUT IN FRONT OF WHERE THEY DUMP THE FRIES INTO THE BIN. I also saw into the back and saw the same thing!!!
Now while I waited for them to replace my food (which I debated just asking for a refund after seeing this mess), the girl at the drive-thru started yelling to the cooks in the back about someone must have taken a 2nd order for the guy at the window saying he had 2 separate orders. Out of the back you could here someone say "OH LORD, YALL GET ON MY NERVES. JUST TAKE HIS ORDER FOR HIM!"
Now guess what?
It was the manager/supervisor who was an old black lady and her uniform was filthy. She kept yelling and talking to herself as she walked to the drive-thru to talk to the guy.
THIS WAS THE MOST GHETTO, RATCHET, UNORGANIZED, DISGUSTING FRANCHISE FAST FOOD PLACE I HAVE EVER SEEN. It looked like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey. I was like is this real life? AS SOON AS I LEFT, I THOUGHT ABOUT IT, AND THREW MY FOOD AWAY. $8 isn't worth...
Read moreI wonât stop at this Burger Kings if I have a choice. Worst place I Iâve ever patronized in my life. The good isnât all that. My husband heard on tv that the y had a new burger. So we went and we ordered their new burger. This particular Burger Kings was out of almost everything that was to go on the sandwich. They had no onions or, tomatoes. We werenât told this until after we ordered their new burger sandwich. The employees are very rude. Our French fries were obviously old because they were cold.. The drive thru window was broken and we were rudely told to pull up and give our order. Most of the time their shake machine is down for whatever reason. We got home and checked our order and everything was not in there. So I called back to the store to tell them. Whoever answered the phone has no telephone etiquette. She didnât give her name and she told us that we had to come back that evening and pick up the forgotten item. I said you just canât take our name and weâll pick it up later? She said no we donât do that here youâll have to come back for it. I asked to speak to the manager and she said there wasnât one there. I knew that wasnât true but I didnât dispute her word. I just hung up the phone. So on that little venture we lost money. But lesson learned check your food bag before you leave because they are not going to honor their mistake.Employess are very rude, some are engaged in conversation with others and the delay your order and make you wait. Iâd rather drive a little bit further and go to the one by the truck stop in the Bluff Rd area. They have much better service the atmosphere is nice and the employees are friendly. Somehow the food taste better also and the sandwiches are not just...
