The offerings here more than please the palate, full on flavor is an understatement to say the least. This is... Quite Frankly - Not - at - all, a run of the mill Mexican food joint. Disguised @ the end of a strip mall as such. Quaintness isn't really found here folks but be that as it may don't for a minute be fooled by the facades we've grown accustomed to. Nestled in nicely as many typically do but that's just about where the comparisons stop. Where it distances itself from the norm immediately upon being seated is the attention you receive, this place's hired help gets it, it's not what can I get you today it's more of a How may I serve you today attitude, Customer Service ☑ Another customer may come to experience otherwise but this was the feeling I received the entire time by several staff members. My table's needs were well catered to & mind you there was a birthday party of 20 something folks going on the entire length of our stay in addition to a majority of the tables & booths being full up of folks too, all on a Saturday night, Large Parties(even @ peak times)☑. There's no sense of the food being rolled off of a truck, shoved into a freezer or fridge & then just heated & thrown onto a plate with no attention to flavoring details. Marinades? Quite possibly a check... Portions fit for a King, flavorings as previously stated absolutely on Point the way it ought to be done, 😋 Food, yet another ☑ & all at a modest price, giving Value a ☑ too. Beer (bottled or draft) Draft Beer ☑ want that draft beer in a Big Heavy Stein-style Glass Mug ☑. Certainly plan on going back being that it was an on a whim kind of first time experience & it came our way by word of mouth recommendation which says a lot in & of its self. Well rounded in all aspects that you could ask for in a great...
Read moreThis Restaurant Definitely, has a "Lack of Customer Service and Southern Hospitality". When I walked in the door, I asked for a Menu and the cashier was looking around trying to find one, I saw one on the table and asked if I could use it, he said yeah, and was left waiting for about 15 mins, so I sat down at that table where the menu was, waiting on the cashier (a young man)to come back to the counter. A man came in the door and a female employee, immediately, came to assist him. I said excuse me, I've been waiting here for a while, she said ok, and proceeded to take his order, until he told her that I was waiting before him. Therefore, I pointed on the menu ( I think it was Nacho Supreme)what I wanted, and she said, "Is that all?" I said yes and she turned to the man and said ok, sorry about that, how can I help you?!!!!! Five minutes later she sat my food in a bag on the table (behind me) and said, "here is your food" went to the register and told me the amount.....if she said Thank You, I didn't hear her...... My food looked like it was just thrown in the pan, actually it really looked like it was what would've been left over after you've eaten out of it and it looked like some cheese was melted on the top and a glob of sour cream just dropped on the top!!!! The tortilla chips in the dish were super soggy, and the bag of tortilla chips were burnt!!! I personally believe this had been made an hour or more before I ordered it and maybe been sitting in an oven or under a heat lamp!! It Definitely wasn't prepared "FRESH" in less than FIVE MINUTES!!! This was my first time getting food from this restaurant...... Probably, safe to...
Read moreWe have eaten here many times and love the food, service is usually great and quick, but I made the mistake when they asked if our bill would be one check or two of saying that since its my birthday my mom was paying, we finished our meal and the servers came in a group from behind me and put a communal hat on my head which I'm not fond of then someone who I don't personally know shoved whipped cream in my face covering my mouth and nose with their bare hands, this was a problem for me on many levels, I was so upset I felt sick, they brought a dessert that I couldn't consider eating after that so it was left on the table, I have a lower immunity due to several autoimmune diseases and I don't even shake hands with people yet I had a strangers hands on my face, I'm a abuse survivor living with ptsd and I had a stranger unknowingly put their hands over my mouth and nose, I felt attacked and assaulted and I can't imagine a restaurant thinking that's a good idea, they should never do something like that without getting permission at least from someone in the party, if they had asked my mom she would have told them no, I really like the food there but it ruined my whole night and I actually feel afraid to be there so I don't think we'll ever...
