I used to love this Jimmy John’s, they have excellent service, and they’re close to my house. Today a friend and I wanted to get some food and head home after a day shift, both ordered our sandwiches, I paid, awesome. The guys inside were talking while they made our sandwiches, cool whatever, but they took the wrong order on my friends sandwich, while also not putting any meat on the sandwich anyways. We didn’t notice until halfway home when she opened it to take a few bites, we laughed it off and turned around to have it fixed. The same guy, who let me know he was the manager, who had made, it was there making another order, so I explained the whole situation and asked to switch the sandwich. It seemed like it was gonna be no problem to switch, so I waited around before he began asking which sandwich it was again, then saying it was the correct sandwich, even though there wasn’t any meat. Never in my life did I think I’d be accused of stealing meat, but this man began to claim, “I’m not saying I’m perfect, but I KNOW I put meat on that sandwich, I made it myself. That never happens. I’m going to need your name to make sure this doesn’t happen when you shop again.” I explained he seemed preoccupied before, and it started an entire back and forth. It’s just petty, and I don’t understand the situation. I’m beyond frustrated, and expressed that it was insane I would steal meat, a girl behind the counter even agreeing with me that it’s absurd and it’s the wrong sandwich. He corrected and made me a sandwich, but I couldnt have cared less at that point, it was a total slap in the face. I don’t know if it’s because he was having a bad day, or a young girl with tattoos, colored hair and piercings just seems like a...
Read moreOrdered online delivery - site accepted my funds, along with a delivery tip - got a call 15 minutes later that they don't have a delivery driver available and can cancel my order or I can come pick it up. Asked about the delivery fee as well as my tip, and was reassured those would be refunded. Got to the restaurant - guy was talking to his wife/girlfriend on the phone, and didn't even acknowledge me when I walked in. Literally threw my sandwiches at me as he still talked to his wife/girlfriend, and not saying a word to me. I asked about my tip/delivery fee, and he nodded at me and walked in the back. My order was completely wrong - I called immediately when I got home, but of course no answer. Payment was still processed with delivery fee and tip. I emailed Jimmy Johns and heard promptly from the "manager" who apologized for my experience and offered me a full credit - I accepted, as my family loves Jimmy Johns but told him it needed to be at a different location. He never got back to me, despite my additional efforts to continue responding to him. Just terrible customer service. I wish there bread wasn't so good - I'd never go back, but those tasty carbs are hard to stay away from! lol Avoid this...
Read moreI order from this location multiple times a month and usually do pickup. I was busy at work today so decided I would do delivery. An hour later, my tracking still said order received. I tried calling 6 times to check and make sure they go it, but every time the phone would ring 5-6 times and then disconnect. The location I ordered from is less than a 1/4 mile from me, so I went there. When I told the employee that I had placed a delivery order an hour ago, he immediately started explaining that they were so busy and only have one delivery driver. I told him I tried to call the store but no one answered and it kept disconnecting so that I could tell them to cancel it or at least get a status. He was so dismissive and no apology. I get being understaffed and busy, I use to work in the restaurant industry but you don't dismiss a customer that way. I asked to speak to the manager - same response and reaction, no apology. You would think the app - could at least tell you there is a delay, and I would have been fine with that. I'm really disappointed. I've never had bad service or food from this location...
