A truly lovely coffee shop with an amazing atmosphere and great drink selection. Located right across the street from the high school and relatively close to the university, The Grind is the perfect spot to study/work, host a casual meeting, or meet with some friends to catch up and chat. Their porch is absolutely spectacular when the weather is nice and their Wifi is reliable and fast. All of their standard drinks are fantastic, but I would definitely recommend giving their Chai Latte and their Adult Chocolate Milk (which is made with cold brew, mocha, white mocha, and milk) a try. If you're a fan of smoothies but still want your caffeine fix, then their Red Bull Berry Blaster is amazing, and I highly recommend their Chipotle Chicken Panini if you need a quick bite to eat. Their Grinders are phenomenal if you want something a bit more sugary, and the service is fantastic. Aucky, the owner, is one of the kindest and friendliest people I've ever met and I love that they source the majority of their products from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm a young workaholic and enjoy working after hours and on weekends and Im very glad this place exists. I've had their protein-packed pairs of balls, their pannini, general-branded stuff (Chobani yogurt, milk, etc.), shakes, lattes, and fruit shakes. Prices are a bit higher but I think the expanded hours, plenty of charging locations for work, studies, or gaming, and service make it worthwhile. I've even met the owner amd he is friendly and outgoing and doesn't mind helping out since this is his small business. Regular fairly crowded with college students working, talking, and adults working talking, etc. Only downside is the slightly limited comfortable seating in the main store and the limited variety of seating in the second location for groups amd studying was a bit frustrating. Hoping to see some new furniture and renovations to make it more appealing for bookies (like myself), chatters, and studying groups.
Highly recommend and look forward to being a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWith the events of last year my roommate and I have not been out of the house very much but now that things are easing up one of the first places we decided to visit was the Grind. Even though local restrictions have been lifted the Barista working was still wearing a mask and the store looked extremely clean. The presentation in the cases and the sign on the counters show that cleanliness is a priority and I appreciated that. The associate made the drinks exactly as we wanted and it was overall a wonderful experience. I look forward to walking back down there again soon. Not a complaint but something to think about would be adding in a way for people who are walking their dogs to order from the door. Plenty of times Iām walking my dog around the block and would love to stop in for a cup of coffee on the walk but I donāt know what to do with my dog while Iām there. ps. Love the...
