Paulou's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Columbia

I ordered from this place through UberEats and I can't say I was hesitant because I read the reviews on Google before placing my order. Even with me reading all the good reviews I had NO IDEA how amazing this food really was going to be! I tried a piece of everything that I ordered and just sat in awe at how AMAZING everything tasted!!! I'm a VEEEEEEEERY picky eater because certain textures and tastes of food throw me off but I can confidently say I've never ordered a meal from a restaurant and was able to say I enjoyed every part of what I ordered!!! I would genuinely give EVERYTHING I ate a 10/10!!! (Even the fries which blew my mind!!!!!!!) Also, I have no idea WHO made those waffles or HOW they made them but at this point I'll buy classes to learn how to make my waffles taste and feel like that!!! OMG the DRINKS!!!! I ordered a mango smoothie and I swear it taste like they made the smoothie from a mango tree in their backyard or something!!! The Hunch Punch was HEAVEN!!!!!!!!! I've never tasted anything like that in my life but I'm in love now! Went to the recommended place for lunch for the chicken and waffles. We ordered 6 meals and 6 drinks. It took 2 hours from the time we sat down, ordered drinks and meals. First, one order of chicken tenders and fries came out, then 10 minutes later a chicken and waffles, then 10 minutes later one of the burgers, then 10 minutes another chicken and waffles, and then 10 minutes the last cheeseburger (except they forgot the cheese!)….and they forgot my chicken tenders! No worries - they made them and I just had them put them in a to-go container (since they charged us) because everyone was done and ready to leave. We actually got our drinks after the first meal was served - which I helped serve them because we were all wanting our drinks. I’m not sure if we went on an off day, or because it was a rainy week day and business was slow, but the 5 star taste reviews were not our experience. First of all, I called ahead and when we arrived 25 minutes later- we still had an almost 30 minute wait and there were no other customers there. That wasn’t a huge deal because we had time. However, that should be said when phone orders are placed. The food looked good and the 1st wing I ate tasted good and I was hopeful. We ordered 3 meals. 2 regular with lemon pepper wings. And 1 red velvet with buffalo wings. That first chicken wing gave me false hope. Those wings were certainly refried and that’s my issue. They were all dried down to the bone. That irritated me so much because we went on my daughter’s graduation from the base & she didn’t even eat it. The ladies there were very sweet, but DO NOT refry chicken...
