The food is great and the price is affordable, but the customer service is horrible (that's why the one star rating). I understand this is a small business, but if a service is offered than people will expect that. I have called in simple breakfast orders prior to leaving home around 8:30am as I start work at 9 and I allow 15 minutes as instructed for the food to be ready. Each time when I get there the food is ready, but no one comes to the counter for at least 3 minutes then they have you pay and take forever to give you the food that you have paid for. Last week I had to leave my food as I knew I was going to be late for work after waiting so long and I only work 12 minutes away this is why I call in my order from home. Owner if you read this please either pay your staff a little more, designate someone to specifically work the counter and tell your staff how unprofessional it is to complain to customers about all the duties they have for little pay. I won't be going there for takeout orders before work anymore but if a friend wants to meet at the diner I will go since the food is good, but they have to pay because I refuse to pay for bad service and word of mouth is everything I let my coworkers know about the horrible experience I had and the...

The food is great as always but the service this time by our waitress(Kimberly) was horrible. The cashier had to tell her to come and clean our table, then our food was up and the cook had to bring it out because as shs stated she was making tea which was more important. she never brought us any syrupy to go with our French toast because she was to busy trying to grab her tips. I had to ask another waitress for syrupy and refills on our drinks and then she came over to check on us after seeing me go to the counter to get my own drinks. She finally came and give us a 2nd refill after 10 min of the glass being empty and me pushing the glass to the end of the table and then refilled it with the wrong drinks. She brought our check and took forever to come back to pick it up. Usally when we come there our servers are always fast, nice, friendly, and accurate with great customer services. But this is the 2nd time getting this waitress and both times her service has...

I had high hopes from the reviews. I ordered gravy side, no bread, hashbrowns and western omelet, with sweet tea. Seat yourself at booths or a little table. Plenty of parking lot parking. Not their finest dining moment. I hate to say this without a photo, but my first instinct when I saw something black and wirey looking sticking out of my hashbrowns was to put it out, look at it and quickly get it off of my fingers. I took an original photo when food came out and can kind of see the issue but I did not notice until I started eating and moving the food. Service was fine. Some people came in for to go’s and some ate inside.

My gravy tasted like flour - not a good taste. My omelet was fine but no flavor. My hashbrowns came with diced onions sautéed in, so I was very excited about this but again not much flavor other than burnt pieces and the non-burnt pieces tasted like whatever oil they’re cooked...

This was our first time here we wanted to try to breakfast I was a little skeptical at first and here is why, When you walk in there is a sign that says seat yourself but all the empty tables were dirty, the couple in front of us walked to a dirty table and sat down then the waitress came to clean the table so we did the same thing had to sit at a dirty table in order for it to be cleaned which is a red flag for me, the tables should be cleaned once customers leave but given it was busy with 2 servers we still wanted to give the restaurant a try. I must say don’t judge a book by its cover the food was delicious everything was seasoned to perfection service was good Thanks Kim for your hospitality.

This is a quaint mom and pop style restaurant, tucked off in a corner next to AutoZone. The restaurant is a decent enough size, and we were seated immediately. Our server came over quickly with menus and took our drink orders. She came back with the drinks and took our food order. The food didn't take long to come out of the kitchen, and everything was cooked fresh, made to order. The food was delicious!! We ordered French toast with eggs and bacon and a side of grits. The bacon was fried crispy, which is a huge PLUS for me. I hate limp bacon. The grits were creamy with no lumps, PERFECT!! It was a great first-time dining experience, and we will visit again soon. No complaints from beginning to end!
