If you dine in, getting your food takes a while, so ORDER AHEAD if you can. I live in Georgia and visit the temple not far from there so I am dine-in. I'll need to start placing my order ahead of time so I won't have to wait as long.
The food is served HOT (as in temperature), which is how it should be and the way I like it. I burn my tongue because I have to get at that seafood.
Yesterday, I had a generous crab cluster and shrimp meal. Came with a half ear of corn, three small slices of sausage, two boiled eggs, and about two medium potatoes cut up. I got into the shrimp so fast, I cannot tell you how many there were. So delicious! Not overcooked, not over spiced; just perfect.
They have ample sauces in the dining room: cocktail, ketchup, tartar, and honey mustard. There are a few others in packets that I cannot remember. My food came with butter.
They had whole fried flouder, which was tempting because I love getting mojarra frita when I can find it at a Mexican restaurant.
The first time I stopped there, one of the customers was a sweet lady who gave me catfish right off her freshly prepared tray to try. Last night, the dining room was a mix of young and old, white, black, and brown. It was busy, but mostly with...
Read moreSo 2ic had been talking about this place for a few weeks. Some people told her about it. She asked me . But I wasn't 100 percent sure where it was or knew about it. I just knew it was far away from us..about a 35 min drive. So one day I was kind of close to the place and swung by there to grab us something to eat. When I pulled up. I had actually been to another restaurant in same plaza before. So I went in. It's a nice hole in the wall. Clean. With a decent amount of space. And organized. Most hole in the walls are not. But that doesn't bother me as long as the food is good. The order took about 20 min. And it looked and smelled good. They open the plates to let me look before I left. I had a lunch special. And a crab boil for 2ic. And the food was good. I rarely go to a hole in the wall and the food not he good.. but their specialty is seafood. And that is right up my alley. My personal issue is the location because of where I live it is too far to go there on a constant basis. But if you live closer to this establishment I am sure you already know about it. But if you like seafood and happen to be in the area.(gardner ferry) I definently would go there and get...
Read moreOur family was passing through town while traveling and doing research we found Seafood & More --- and so happy we tried it.
We got our food to-go and ate it at the hotel we were staying at -- and even though our food leaked all over the bag -- and our hush puppies were not in there -- the food made-up for a couple little blunders.
We got our son a fried shrimp kid's meal -- the shrimp were perfectly fried. We also got crawfish which were amazing and tasted fresh. Then we got shrimp meals with the spicy garlic sauce (which I wanted to bottle up and take home with me -- I will have dreams about it!) And also the house sauce-- which was even more delicious.
Everything was extremely flavorful -- the potatoes should not be passed up -- the staff should be very proud of what they are making. Hopefully we will get to pass back through town again soon and get to try a few more things...
