Southern Sugar Saloon — Restaurant in Columbia

Today was my first time visiting and it is the sweetest little place! I love the decor and vibe! I took my 1 and 3 year old in there with me and of course they both were eager for candy and all over the place and you could probably tell I had my hands full but the sweet lady at the counter was the sweetest and she said I am doing great with my kids. We wanted some of the milkshakes but in an ice cream form and they offered it to us as a “deconstructed” shake! It was creamy and delicious! Large servings and sweet employee! The atmosphere was creative as were the names of the treats 🤠 The only negative thing I have is that they had some kind of plug-in air freshener that was so strong and it gave me a headache because of the toxins in it. We ended up waiting in the car for our ice cream because of that.

Southern Sugar Saloon is a super cute ice cream shop with a fun candy bar—my kids loved picking out their own little bags of candy, and we each got a milkshake and a soda. The milkshakes were unique and delicious, definitely a treat! That said, I was shocked to spend over $80 for what was supposed to be a quick ice cream stop.
