This is an amazing place to stay. The owner was very accommodating. We ended up having to come in late in the evening and she stayed there to let us in after hours. Breakfast was great, we had a few people in our party and she moved us into the dining room to keep us all together. Food was delicious. The room was neat and gorgeous with all necessities. Very historic building. We toured the whole house and learned about the history. The owner is very sweet and kind. I highly recommend starying here!

Beautiful B&B and such friendly service. We were only there for less than 10 hours but they were more than happy to assist us in anyway possible. There was at first a little mix up about rooms, but it was kindly and quickly corrected :) Highly suggest this to anyone! If you want to experience an hold historic, beautiful home turned into a B&B, you must stay here and so close to Nashville too!

Blythewood is a gem and I hope it remains there for many years to come. The house is wonderful and storied. I read the history in the binder that comes with the room as well as some research online and it’s special to stay in a place that has such a rich history and is still going strong.

The home was one of the most beautiful architecturally b&b’s we have stayed in to date. Donna was kind on the phone when making our reservations 2 days prior. But upon arrival her demeanor was more on the annoyance side. She was quick to show us our room and give us the key. When we asked about breakfast the next morning she said she hasn’t decided yet, but it is ultimately the chefs choice. That evening after my hubby took a very short bath… when I went to take my shower sadly there was no hot water! But I guess that is common in an old house. But ironically we were the only guests staying the night. Considering it was in the the low 20’s outside, made the cold shower much worse. The linens were comfortable, but as the night went on it seem to get hotter and hotter in the room. Like someone was turning up the heat. It made sleeping quite uncomfortable. In the morning, Donna seemed to be annoyed for some reason when she brought out our breakfast. Sadly the eggs were wet and soggy, the sausage was cold, and the biscuits were burnt. But we picked at it and ate what we could. She never came back out to ask us how our night was or how our food was. I had to go knock on the kitchen door just to get some more coffee creamer. She again seemed very irritated that I asked. She never said goodbye or happy holidays or anything. She definitely lacked in hospitality. It’s a beautiful place but I would never recommend to my friends and family to visit here. What a shame such a beautiful inn yet no hospitality or just...

My husband and I had a wonderful experience! We are so grateful to Dinah and Wayne for their hospitality! ||||Room had everything we needed (and more): nice hairdryer, fan, nice quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, make up remover, robes, bottled water, charging station. We were right by the entrance door and we didn't hear a thing. There is a full-size refrigerator in the common area so we could keep our beverages cold. ||||We were blown away by breakfast two mornings in a row. The owners asked if we had any dietary restrictions at check-in. We enjoyed freshly baked biscuits and croissants, homemade jams (peach and pear), freshly cut fruit bowls, excellent casserole and quiche. Furthermore, all that goodness is served on a real china, silver and crystal tableware, on top of linen covered table. Touches like classical music and beautiful Victorian details all around us made us feel like a royalty. We enjoyed our evenings outside on the patio. ||||The location was great. It's quiet, there is plenty of parking available. There are a few fast-food options located in the walking distance. It's about 6 min drive to Downtown Columbia. There were a couple of Lyfts/Ubers available as well. ||||Overall, we couldn't be more impressed! Thank you so much for hosting us! We are looking forward to...
