I called this location this past Tuesday night (6 separate times, because no one would answer the phone) and a middle aged woman picked up the phone and told me to hold. I said “no problem!” and kept silent and then she rudely said “HELLO?!”.. I said “Hi! Sorry, I was told to hold” and she replied with “Well sOrry, I’m trying to run a business and I have two employees here including myself, so yeah I have to put people on hold and I’m super busy”. I replied “Oh, I wasn’t being rude I just thought I needed to hold while you finished what you were doing”. ANWAYS- This woman was EXTREMELY rude to me on the phone and was very irritated she was even taking my order. I ordered an ice cream cake and she was being disrespectful the entire phone call and talking to me as if I’m unintelligent. She was very irritated that I asked her if they had green icing for the cake and she had to take a minute to check in the back. She told me she didn’t know if my cake could be made because the “cake lady” wasn’t coming in due to weather..? She never called me back to let me know the status of the cake being made. I called in to check mid-day Thursday and I talked to a very kind young man. He was very helpful and respectful and told me the cake was ready- I also told him I was treated badly by the woman on the phone and thanked him for his kindness. Thursday evening I went to pick up the cake. The lobby was closed when the sign said they were open until 10:00pm. I went through the drive-thru and unfortunately had to deal with the rude woman again at the window. She had zero personality and was still being disrespectful and just flat out mean. I forget her name, but she was African-American with pretty long hair. Hopefully this review gets to higher management and can put her in her place and give her training on how to treat customers. Also, the handwriting on my cake looks like a middle school student did it. No cursive, not even decorative scripture.. Super dissatisfied. DO BETTER! **I’ll...
Read moreHave been here more than once and every single time the staff is unbelievably rude! You try to use the DQ app and they constantly tell you it doesn't work or is not available at that location. Ask for something special other than what is listed on the menu and you are told they don't have it like extra peanuts in a Peanut Buster Parfait.. but yet they can make the plain one just fine. Have even had issues with them over bananas but yet they were giving them away because they had too many. Horrible staff at one of the few ice cream places in town.
Update,,,,tried again as per the owners reply. Same results different day. Lack of customer service! One would think after so many complaints the owners would actually do something to remedy the situation instead of giving some half sincere reply. If you truly value your customers feedback then fix the situation. Tonight's fiasco was an employee trying to pass off medium sized sundaes for large ones. The dip on top was barely there. Funny how 2 days prior it was a large sundae and covered with the churro dip. Again instead of blowing smoke and saying you value your customers feedback actually do something about the...
Read moreI love Dairy Queen in Columbia, Tennessee. I love the service, the food, the ice cream but they made a mistake that needs to be corrected and if they can be more careful and more cautious then I would gladly give 5 stars! I bought a medium size Cotton Candy Blizzard today and as I am nearing the middle of the blizzard I see something that was clearly food but not a Cotton Candy crumble. I get it on my next spoonful and take the bite and it was a PEANUT! I thankfully do not have a peanut allergy but my two nephews have a severe peanut allergy. I was so angry bc had my nephews been the one to order this blizzard, it would have been terrifying. As I eat more into my blizzard, I come across 3 more Peanuts. More and more shock and surprise. I can understand 1 maybe falling in, but now FOUR peanuts? This is something that needs to be addressed soon bc I know my nephews aren't the only ones that love Ice Cream from Dairy Queen and have a peanut allergy. Maybe I'm over reacting. Maybe there is a small disclaimer that I missed somewhere. But this can be a life threatening mistake. FIVE PEANUTS?!!! Please do better for the safety of your customers...
