Ajs tacos — Restaurant in Columbus

I've had many, MANY quesabirrias in Ohio, and this is one of my top picks! I just had it for the first time today and I'm hooked. Cute little food truck, super friendly workers, gave me a little buzzer to hold in my car that would make a sound when my food was ready. Their birria and consome is SO delicious. I could drink 5 gallons of that consome 😂 highly, HIGHLY recommend. Also, random, but they put their consome in a small container and inside the box with the birria. It keeps it in place, and I think it would make it much harder to bust open (as I've had other places packaging burst many times), so I really appreciate the containers/packaging because it kept stuff NOT messy and saved me lots if tasty consome, haha. The only thing is the food tastes quite salty (which I LOVE), but maybe folks with sodium/blood pressure issues should just be aware and be careful. I'm so impressed by the flavor they packed into...

First let me say the woman who answered the phone was absolutely wonderful. She recommended a few menu items that were popular and allowed me to choose while being patient. I grabbed the birria tacos with the consome on the side and their esquite de birria. The birria tacos had immense flavor without being too salty. The meat was tender and had a great pull with the cheese especially dipping in the consome. The broth contained crunchy diced onions and the cilantro had a bright green firmness to it with small shreds of meat. The corn tortillas were crunchy and perfectly cooked. My favorite was the over cooked cheese around the tortillas. The esquite was delicious as well. The creaminess of the queso and mayo rounded out the sweet corn and spiciness of the meat. The components paired perfectly together to create a bite that kept you wanting more. I give 10/10 fantastic meal and...

AJs is by far our fav spot for Mexican food. Even though we live 40 minutes away, the trip is always worth it! One of top items on the menu for us is any of their tacos made Cali style which adds pico de gallo and guacamole. You can tell the quacamole is made fresh each day as it has little chunks of avocado and has a fresh green look... excellent stuff. Of course AJs is also known for their fantastic birria dishes. The birria ramen and quesabirria tacos are top notch and my wife who's a grilled cheese fanatic loves the birria grilled cheese. If you've not tried AJ's you're missing out! They're on West Broad St by Wilson and sets next to the Keg tavern. If it's hot or cold outside , you can take your AJs order into the keg and order a soda or adult beverage...the keg welcomes...
