The 7660 Schomburg Road location is struggling. They serve stale fried chicken breasts and wings, along with biscuits that had lost their freshness. On Tuesday, April 25th the female cashier (see photo) was lethargic and almost in a stupor. She didn't smile or respond when asked how she was doing. We placed an order and requested condiments, but the order arrived with none. We wasted time returning to get the condiments and correct the order. The cashier didn’t apologize. Yet when the same female cashier completed the transaction, she returned to the dining area of the Bojangles to skin, grin and giggle on her cell phone. Amazing. Four days earlier April 21st, when management/franchise owners were present, the restaurant was clean, and faux flower decor was placed on the tables. The bathrooms were also clean. The staff had acted differently with management on the premises, and the service was better. However, it was ironic that the restaurant was now in a mess only after four days. We observed several Bojangles employees would run over to Zaxby's during their shift to purchase food. One early morning another cashier would even bring in her Chick-fil-A breakfast while serving drive-thru customers. A male Bojangles employee not washing his hands after using the bathroom. Astonishing and speaks volumes. We noticed the dullard cashier pictured dropped bags and containers on the floor, only to use them in packaging customers' food. We were disgusted and wondered how the staff could be so careless with people's food. Upon exiting the restaurant we witnessed the dropping of food only to be placed back on the food racks. Disgusting and a major safety issue. Very disappointing experiences. This Bojangles restaurant needs to be restaffed with conscientious and ethical employees who value the importance of food safety, ethics, customer service and professionalism.

Changing my review again. 88 rating, but I still will go get steak biscuits from here. The staff has been great lately and they have been keen when they say they are open. I really like their steak biscuits! My original review has changed from years ago. First off, put your times online. Second, after going yesterday to find them closed, my husband went today. He made an order for our entire household. After ordering a large box, he doubled checked to make sure it was fine to order breakfast, I mean with all their changes who the hell knows if they stopped all day breakfast, the jerk employee literally said "you just ordered a huge 8 piece box, why would you order anything else, you can't possibly need anything else". What the hell? Bojangles, I get hiring sucks right now, but I promise that hiring jerks and people that don't care will do more harm to your business. It's times like these I just really wish 0 stars was a thing.

Edit: Been 2 years since I tried this Bojangles due to poor experience. Still not good. Employees are rude. Also they now charge 0.25 for a water cup. I ordered a value meal with drink and wanted an extra water cup......nickel and diming. Original: Closed at 645pm when they say they open.

Got there at 6 AM when they supposedly open and there wasn't a single car there. Eventually 2 cars showed up 5 minutes after 6. After they were hanging out in the parking lot for another 10 minutes, I was approached by one of the workers and asked if I worked there as if there's no reason for me to be at this restaurant right now if I don't work there. I said no, I don't work here I was just showing up because it says you open at 6. To this the lady literally replies. Nah we runnin late this morning. Judging by her lack of concern and unapologetic attitude I'd imagine this is a very common occurrence. Not to mention if it's one worker that shows up late I can understand but if both of you come rolling in around the same time it's like you planned for it. Corporate needs to step in ASAP and fix both the victory drive location...
