Coffee House On 5th — Restaurant in Columbus

Went there about 15 mins before closing. I usually dont do that because i get it, 1 more customer is a downer. However, the red haired chick working there gave us passive aggressive attitude about it. The black haired girl was perfectly cordial, kind and makes a killer coffee.

As soon as we walk in, red haired girl gives us a death stare like "what the hell are you doing here?" And then proceeds to check her watch and ask "what time is it?" Very loudly. Just extremely passive aggressive. My husband ordered something, but i refrained from ordering anything because of her behavior. Totally obnoxious. She is already there till 6pm anyways, getting paid, yet is sneering at the customer who would have tipped her extra for her time. Too bad! She needs to be fired. I can see she's probably a problem in other areas of the establishment.

Anyways, other girl was amazing. Very kind and i could tell she didnt want to entertain the other barista in the moment. Just ignored her like a pro. If yall want to talk shit AFTER we left, i legit dont care. But if you want to burn your own tip...

We always have a great experience sad to say today was awkward. I wish I could explain my love for new cultures and how I love enjoying new languages without being so awkward. No worries. Food was also a bit more salty than normal, I would still order again. Never go wrong with coffee. Brew was perfect per usual. (Edited) we appreciate the quick response. Whenever I visit Columbus, I stop by here for a coffee and some quiet time for myself. Their coffee is the best around the area in my opinion (I don’t prefer sour taste in my coffee). When I first visit there, it was around Valentine’s Day so they had a special coffee called rose pedal latte. I fell in love with it! The regular latte is good too. The staffs are always smiling and very friendly. Very welcoming. I like the art work on the wall and the table setting by the front window. Must visit here if you need little caffeine...
