Best pizza without any question on the south end.
I've heard of Dawghouse so many times since I moved to this neighborhood just over three years ago. Finally, with guests at home for the OSU Oklahoma game I chose Dawghouse.
Comments from those at my home eating away were so complimentary...we actually could have used more pizza.
I'm still unsure about the crust....I really thought it was a critical element to the taste that made me like it but I don't know if it's a frozen purchased crust or freshly made. I'll find out.
TOPPINGS TOPPINGS TOPPINGS.....FRESH, FRESH, FRESH....MAJOR QUANTITY, MAJOR QUANTITY, MAJOR QUANTITY.....They have specialty pizza choices but I find those yucky because there are those with chicken....

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION....Get of your white horse if you think poorly of our neighborhood....Located on the NW corner on Lockbourne at Marion Road makes your trip so easy. Great parking lot. Safe! It is safe. CLEAN AND WELCOMING...that includes people like me and you.
The three areas inside Dawghouse I'd say are the pizza window, the bar with stools and then a very large dance/staged/tabled area.....it's very light, breezy and large enough to move around in. STAFF ARE TOP NOTCH. ATTENTIVE, PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL, SKILLED STAFF MAKE THE PLACE.
DO YOU HAVE ACCESS TO 104? 104, either direction, to LOCKBOURNE ROAD NORTH, just through the first major intersection on your left.
GROVE CITY HIGH SCHOOL GREYHOUNDS SUPPORTERS.....VISIT THE DAWGHOUSE....you'll be glad you did.
Well worth your visit....They deliver as well. I'll be taking groups there for certain....karaoke....

Read moreMy husband and I don't live far from this place and have enjoyed the food more than once or twice. We ordered from there tonight after our long and tedious day. I am just so out done and upset at at the head man there tonight because our order was wrong. When we went back with our receipt and only expecting what we would normally get from other restaurants, courtesy, replacement meal or some other courtesy because by then my food is cold and we had to get dressed to come back out; just something for the trouble...I was met with being implied that I was a liar, mixing of words as calling what we ordered something else. I should not have had to argue or anything when the customer is always right. Why would I come all the way back out in the cold to lie about an order and argue. I am upset at the way I was treated and never got a courtesy because by then he had convinced himself that he was right just because the shift had changed and that person was not there to confirm what we were telling him was correct. Now mind you this is the boss, owner or whoever decides what goes. He was not nice, hospitable or professional about it. I did not enjoy the experience and don't tolerate being treated as less than a valued customer. Don't expect reasonable service if you find your order wrong. I feel very disrespected. Read moreIt's a pretty ok place to watch the game and socialize, however yesterday 10/7/23 the bartender possibly owner had harsh words among one another that ultimately inclined the male customer to jump over the counter and punch the female worker in the face. Both parties were wrong. The customer was unhappy because he saw someone after him get his food and he expressed it but not offensively until the female associate came to where he was and gotten loud with him and told him to leave her bar. He said No and paid for his food she said then I will refund you if you don't leave. He got up went out then came back in shortly to get his food. They had words again. He said he will send someone to beat her butt, she started clapping at him saying do it aggressively, he said f her she said f him more words than fight. She really had a chip on her shoulder though because she put someone else out as well for not being pleased with the service. The male was out of line putting his hands on a female and her tone and behavior was demeaning. This incident will not stop me from going back but hopefully the staff can have a cleaner tone and response to customers that are not happy with the service to avoid this type of incident.
