HIBACHI BENTO-LOCKBOURNE RD — Restaurant in Columbus

Came to pick up an Uber order at 7:15 am, and I saw the older woman run to lock the door. I saw the sign and they weren't open, so I just stood outside waiting until 7:30 am since there was only a couple minutes until they would open the door again. The lady who locked the door came out and told me that they were closed right now. I just informed her I was waiting until they opened (in only 15 minutes may I add) to pick up the order.

Then, not even a second, she got another lady to come out, who then told me to look at the sign showing they didn't open until 7:30 as if I was dumb. I, again, informed me that I was just waiting on them to open (now like 9-10 minutes left) so I can pick up an Uber Eats. She left.

Then, finally, another man with no common sense, came out and told me the same thing and pointed at the sign as if I was dumb (I said the same thing 3 times by this time) @ 7:20 am. I, again, said I was waiting on them to open to pick up Uber.

He, then, declared angrily that he was going to cancel the order. I told him to go ahead and do so then.

Literally, only stood out there for 4-5 minutes before this...

I should have known from how empty the parking lot was that this food was not it. It sits in the old golden donut spot which they still do sell donuts not a lot of them service was great I was immediately greeted food came out quick and fast probably spent less than 10 minutes in there I ordered chicken and steak hibachi that comes with soup the soup was very flavorful it was hot and peppery I enjoyed it. I asked for rice with my meal and I got lo mein and rice and when I tell you the food had no seasoning and the rice you can't even call it fried rice because you can still see that it's white whatever type of soy sauce they was using had a very sour taste to it like a lemon with barely any salt and pepper to it The yum yum sauce is very watery it's really sweet an tastes like you're drinking sugar water this will be my first and last time here what a waste of money I absolutely love the decor because I like the nostalgia I like seeing the old vinyl record covers pasted all over the walls some of them I have never seen the covers before or the artist so I got a kick out of Google searching...

So I ordered from this place about 10 times.. but this time my wife ordered online.. I say pick up for Leah she said let me see your phone I said it's paid for.. she still asking questions I said I don't understand do u want me to call her.. she said show me the order on my phone as she proceeds to grab my phone with her hands wet of rice.. while at the cash register..the man comes let me see your phone I won't take it I said I know I just don't want you touching my phone but it's literally 2 orders an it took 15 mins for her to turn around after I said that's probably 1 of my meals and it was getting cold for 30 mins.. so if u order online make sure u say online...
