I'm giving the Bexley location 1 star because of the experience I just had on the phone with a representative at the corporate office. I initially called her on 120318 concerning a error of credit on my account for receiving incorrect preparation of 1 custom item ordered 100218 & 2 custom items ordered 102318. Apparently even though offered, Donatos has a problem preparing those type of orders. She said she'd research the problem and call me back in 24-48hrs. I had to call her a week later. Her attitude was dismissive, accusatory, not the business philosophy of customers are always right and tried to control the conversation, not listening to my complaint a second time and request to remedy. Bexley Managers offered to replace the 3 items, but when I picked up the replacement custom big don sub at the drive thru, I got home and discovered it was made incorrectly again. I called the manager and she apologized and offered me a $20 credit for the double error. I never got that credit. Another day I called to have a replacement custom mariachi beef pizza delivered, when the driver arrived he asked me for money. I called Donatos, woman told me the amount of credit on my account, that's when I discovered the error of credit and told the driver to send back the pizza. I called Donatos manager, he said there's nothing he can do even though I gave him dates, times & managers names that gave me the credits. He told me to contact the corporate office. So I did and back to my initial & 2nd call to the corporate representative. She treated me like I was a scammer just trying to get free food, researched my orders to 2015, insinuated I was given multiple credits, from now on I will no longer get credits, when I call to place a order, the manager will make it to insure it's correctness, when my order arrives, the driver and I will check my food to insure it's correctness and I'm to sign off on the receipt indicating such. She stated when she contacted the Bexley location, all the managers knew my name and that that location is one of their best. I don't know how many managers work there, but I have spoken to a few over the years, even the past few weeks, when I call to let them know my order was wrong, improperly prepared or missing an item. I also mentioned the online reviews didn't indicate the Bexley location as being top notch and in reading the reviews, there are several people who have had simular to same problems I've experienced and feel the same as I do. She tried to justify the reviews as being inaccurate reflection. She tried not to give me the credits promised to me by store managers. She point blank said she was not going to honor the $20 credit promised for the double error of the custom big don sub, but reluctantly gave me the credit for the amount I paid for the 3 items originally. When I called the corporate office, I thought I would have gotten an apology, she would have contacted the Bexkey managers to step up, meet with the employees to do better at taking, preparing & delivering orders. To my surprise, I was treated like I was the person doing wrong. When it's late, weather is bad, I don't feel like cooking or I'm tired and hungry and I call a restaurant for food, I expect & prefer it to arrive correctly, hot/cold and within the time specified. When it doesn't, I'm disappointed, dissatisfied, angry, out of food sometimes and money paid. I expect the restaurant/store to correct or compensate me as good business practice. I concur with other reviewers, the quality of food and service isn't the same and apparently the owners either don't care or are unaware of the decline. Read more1st let us express our gratitude & appreciation for all the employees of Donatos who made sacrifices & offered their time & services during this COVID19 pandemic. We ordered a pizza on 4/20/20 for our 80yr old mother who is a huge fan of Donatos. Our Mother insisted on having pizza from the Donatos on Main Street since it's only 15mins from her home. Due to the "Social distancing " mandate, we thought this would be ideal for the safety of our Elderly Mother. We were told the pizza would arrive at 5:30pm. However, it did not arrive until 8:15pm. To our dismay the pizza was cold and it looked as if it was made a day before! This was definitely not what my Mother was accustomed too nor was this Donatos standards. Our Mother didn't call to report the incident because it was late and she didn't want to feel as though it was a bother or an inconvenience. However, we feel this matter definitely need to be addressed! We understand a lot of businesses have limited staff & trying to keep up with the demands of the many orders can be very overwhelming. However, It's just important to make sure your customers are satisfied and that the company upholds a level of esteemed standards that Donatos is known for. If we may offer a word of advice, contact the customer if you know you're running behind, and make sure all orders are correct and HOT! It's nothing worse than a cold pizza that's 3hrs late! Read moreTonight they failed miserably, order incorrect, after picking up thru the drive thru and taking home pizza was wrong, tried to called, over 18 minutes on hold, drove to the store while on hold, walked in while still on hold, no one on the phone, no one in the lobby and no one in the drive thru, confronted front counter, he walked away and said someone needs to deal with me, another person came, they all coped an aditude, explained how order was wrong, they still argued about it, finally got order re made... when it was done the employee looked at me and threw the pizza on the counter, and walked away, no words said to me that it was ready, when I asked the additude continued until I walked out of the store with my food, ..... store was fithy and had hair balls in the lobby on the floor, lobby floor was dirty, floor in the back where they prepped the food was nasty and food all over it... see the pictures of the hair on the floor, donatoes need to fix this, have had great service until tonight...as an fyi I did call and talk to corporate to complain while I was in the lobby and shared...
