Family Garden — Restaurant in Columbus

I have ate from this place quite a few times, but due to my recent experience, I will not be eating here again. Right when I walked in and approached the counter, the lady said, "what do you order?" (From my previous experience that same question was asked for a pickup order as well.) So when she asked that I said, "I'd like to place an order please." This misunderstanding persisted a second time. It was on the third try, that all was understood, and I apologized for my misunderstanding. I did not get frustrated with the woman, and I understood that it was just a language barrier... but, she walked away and began to gossip about me in her language. I knew what she was saying was about me, because both of the men she was speaking to, looked up at me, and they all began laughing. I was kind to this women before and after, even though I contemplated walking out without the food. I dusted the soles of my feet as I walked out, as I know what will become of that place.

Update- In response to the owner: Thank you! Although I will not return here again, I do appreciate your response. If this incident has truly and sincerely been corrected and addressed... then I wish you well and increase in this...

Okay so this place was Good!!! I came to try it after seeing it had really good reviews and they didn’t disappoint! I actually disappointed myself because I came at dinner time and ordered the general Tso chicken rice , crab Rangoon and a sweet tea and It was such a good portion size I couldn’t eat it all. Lol The fact that I was sad I can’t finish it ( I also don’t eat left overs ) definitely deserves a 5 star review. Also I may add they were very nice and welcoming also asked if i wanted sauces and was not stingy at all! Was a plus plus because these other places who aren’t nearly as good don’t be trying to give no sauce! Especially the red one lol. So thankkk you I had more than enough! I told my husband like I can’t believe I just paid that for just me (I’m the only one who eats meat 🫢) but I can definitely see why they charge what they charge because you get your moneys worth! Two people can definitely eat one dinner easy. Shoot I think one dinner can feed you and three small kids lol. I loved it next time I’m going to try the wings because as I was waiting they brought some chicken to this table and let me just tell y’all I was finna be annoying like can I...

Went in because I read great reviews. I ordered vegi lo mean, seseme chicken, and beef & broccoli. Right off bat the beef in the beef and broccoli when u would chew it had an AWFUL fish taste. Very rancid flavor and was so chewy I couldn't even chew it up. I was able to get a refund for that dish. Which I appreciated. But I ate the lo mein which tasted good when I ate it but about 6 hours later I was dealthy sick. I didn't eat anything else several hour before this or after before becoming sick so it had to be the lo main or the 1 bite of fish flavored beef. The restaurant is shoved full one side with boxes and boxes of supplies. I really had good hopes because of the reviews. But I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I'm not meaning to be rude or unkind but there was something wrong with that food. The sesame chicken was not cooked all the way but my husband cooked it fully at home before eating it so that probably saved him from getting sick. Again I do not recommend...
