Hachi Hachi Sushi & Hibachi Columbus — Restaurant in Columbus

We are Columbus residents and we were so excited to hear that a sushi/hibachi place was coming to town. To tell you the truth we are a little weary because we are kind of picky about our sushi and hibachi but after having it for dinner tonight it was absolutely amazing. The food seemed so fresh and delicious. My kids absolutely love the hibachi chicken and hibachi steak. I absolutely loved the shrimp tempora rolls and the California rolls. It was also so easy to order online and then I just stop by to pick it up and it was ready in no time. The service was amazing and I was really impressed by how clean and streamlined the kitchen was. Wow, fantastic food. Ordered the hibachi filet for lunch, and it included a small thing of greens with ginger dressing, which wouldn't normally be my thing but it was very tasty. Then the filet came and it was so tender, juicy and flavorful that I regretted I wasn't there for dinner. Rice was yummy and I don't know the side sauce it was served with but that was good too. A small space with a lot of charm! We were greeted immediately by cheerful staff. The gorgeous menu looked more like a picture book with options to suit anyone’s palate. We ordered the miso soup, crabmeat tar tar and specialty rolls. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was compared to other sushi restaurants in the area.
