Tequilas Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Columbus

Husband and I took a chance going on a Friday night for dinner and made it at the perfect time. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated as the place was PACKED, but we were determined to give the new place a try and were prepared for any wait we might experience.

The menu is extensive and varied, and not relegated to the "every restaurant has this" trope. It didn't take long to find something we knew we wanted to try, and despite early apologies by the server who cautioned us it would take a little while as they were so busy, we were quick to reassure we were prepared to wait. Our beverage glasses were never empty before they were full again, and in about 20 minutes on a packed Friday, my husband was enjoying his Alambre, and I was nearly in joyful tears over how good the steak and shrimp dish was.

My only critiques were a desire for a little more seasoning on my dish, and my steak was well done when I ordered medium. But as it was a thin cut of meat, it is understandable that it might not be as easy to get that sort of internal temp before it goes too far. The "grill" taste on the food was clean, not charred, which is huge for me, and I ate until I knew I was going to have regrets... But of the best kind.

Price point is phenomenal for the quality and quantity of food we got, and I know my husband and I will make this a frequent date night...

Here at Tequila Bar and Grill in Columbus Wisconsin we had an outstanding meal. Jesus and the team delivered an awesome dining experience. The service was exceptional they were polite friendly and made us feel like we were home. The food was a culinary experience of deliciousness. Their drinks were strong and tasty the way I like them. Highly recommend this restaurant. We had the carbon nachos with shrimp steak and chicken excellent. My wife had the shrimp cocktail de camaron which is shrimp soup and it was prepared to perfection. Just the way she liked it. Adequate parking handicap access handicap restrooms handicap tables and well-appointed Bar. Newly updated interior including a wall mounted fireplace. The music is at the right level in order to enjoy conversation as well as all the benches tables chairs made me feel comfortable and relaxed. We loved our experience here. We were traveling across Wisconsin for a family gathering and stopped in for a quick dinner base off reviews we read. Our server was incredibly friendly and welcoming gave us suggestions for burritos when we asked off the menu. They have a huge menu with plenty to choose from and has a good amount of non Mexican options too. Everything was so tasty and delicious. The onions and shrimp in my burrito had such a nice grill flavor. Queso is creamy and smooth not gritty like other queso. Atmosphere is very cute and fun decorations which makes the experience that more enjoyable. We ate early but the time we were done the dining room was packed. Which says a lot!
