Halal New York Gyro — Restaurant in Columbus

Well, the Gyro meat is AMAZING, the staff was easy to communicate with... The cook had a good sense of humor. The only drawback for me was that the pictures of each entree had fresh tomatoes as part of the ingredients that came in them. I opened my takeaway box and was sad to see there were no tomatoes included in my gyro salad. I went back up to the food truck to ask for a side of tomatos to add to my salad myself and was informed that they no longer carry tomatoes, they only have onions??? I thought this was very unfortunate. I went back to our vehicle and ate my tomatoe-less Gyro salad with a side of pita bread anyways... It was still pretty good even missing advertised ingredients though. The food was disgusting and for the price, the quantity, & quality was absolutely unacceptable. I do not recommend this place AT ALL. Soon as you step food in the restaurant it smells like a dead body. I had order the wing combo. Not to mention , which only came with 4 tiny wings, and a 2 sides (in a bite size container). Before I left I had told the man, that my sides were cold. Like not fresh what so ever. I didn’t have the energy to argue I just took my L and went on about my day. Took a couple bites and just , ew . I definitely know next time, and would like to spread awareness for others who may find themselves interested…...

Cant beat the gyro! Had the regular lamb gyro Price/taste/quality. hands down unbeaten in town ive had gyros from all over the city. this was amazing! Chef is super cool and friendly. and hooks up loyal customers! the chicken over rice with white sauce. one serving was like 8-9 bucks and it was more than enough to feed me and even my kid! and even came with drink. Really i hope this guy sticks around ill be back. AND PS. That ONLY one star review was just wrong!!!! to see this place had 4.8 with almost 100 reviews even with that one person who was mistaken. you just cannot count this place out of your...
