Completely disappointed. This coffee shop is within walking distance of my apartment and my daughter and I wanted to try it as we wanted to support local businesses. We went in there twice. The first time my daughter went in and was very friendly to the barista. She said thank you with a smile on her face after she was done taking her order. The woman brushed her off and didn't respond. She then watched as the barista greeted and made conversation with several other customers. Thinking maybe she was busy or maybe didn't hear her when she went to get her drink she said thank you a little louder. Again, the barista ignored her. Once I heard this I was annoyed but couldn't make my determination since I wasn't there. So, I decided to come in with my daughter today. When we walked into the store we were not greeted. There were two people behind the counter and no one in the cafe. No one looked up at us as we walked in. As we stood there for a minute the male barista looked up momentarily and told us to wait a minute. The woman came from behind him and asked us what we wanted. Again, she was not friendly and seemed almost annoyed that we were there. (I'd like to note that the woman today was not the same woman from the first encounter) My daughter ordered her drink and looked at me to order. As an avid coffee drinker I only drink dark roast coffee or something of sorts. I asked the lady if they had any and she very rudely told me no. I asked if I could try some and she sighed and gave me a taste. It was extremely acidic and not something I'd usually drink. I then told her as such and usually at coffee shops they'd recommend something, instead she took the cup and disposed of it and stared at me waiting for me to speak. I then asked about the Americano and she told me no that it was also light. She didn't offer any type of recommendation or explanation on why a coffee shop did not have dark roast. I'm not sure if they are just unfriendly people or if it was because of the color of my skin. But after two times of both my daughter and I being treated unkindly I will unfortunately not...

Read moreThis is such a cute little coffee shop. There are times when the parking lot is fuller because they have services going on in the back, but there are dedicated places for people parking to get coffee. I got the fall special - Caramel Apple Butter Iced Latte. It was okay; there wasn’t a very strong caramel or apple butter taste, but it was sweet enough to drink. I have also had the raspberry mocha iced latte here and it was delicious, so I’d definitely recommend it! I also got an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. I went to my car and directly started to eat it, only to find it EXTREMELY tough. I’ve been here before and don’t recall it being it happening, but with this one, I was biting as hard as I could and having to yank it from my mouth to get it to tear then it was tough to chew. The flavor was very good and there was a good amount of cream cheese. I’m not sure if this was just a bad batch or if these were left overnight or something, but I had to throw away most of it. I will still go back and try again because I love this shop and the employees...
