As a Columbus native who was not raised on Dinglewood, World Famous is where I go when I’m craving a chili dog, bag of chips, and a big ole sweet tea served in a styrofoam cup. Great service at the affordable Mom and Pop shop that keeps things classic with their walk up window and picnic table seating right across the street from Rosehill Seafood. (I’d recommend parking in the Rosehill parking lot and walking across the street to World Famous, whose small parking lot can get crowded making it difficult navigate back onto Hamilton Rd). I usually go for the World Famous Combo with extra pickles with a sweet tea (free refill) & I switch up my chips every time. Their dogs aren’t so messy that you need silverware, and are great for a quick bite for lunch any weekday—you’ll be sad they aren’t open on...

Outdoor seating is available although not particularly comfortable, so don't expect anything too fancy (but I mean, hey, it's a hot dog place!). Expect to wait a bit despite the otherwise fast service during lunch time (11:30-12:45 or so), and especially on days where there is nice weather. It can...
