Had an incredible time at Hoster Brewery! The atmosphere was nothing short of amazing, combining a cozy, historical vibe with a great modern twist. The service was top-notch – our bartender was not only friendly but also super knowledgeable, sharing some fascinating history about the brewery, including how they have brewers' notes from the 1800s when the company first started.

The German-style beer was absolutely incredible, perfectly crafted with rich flavors. The back bar area was a true gem – they have this old bar they only paid $100 for, and seeing it in person was definitely a highlight of the visit. It added such a cool touch to the experience. Definitely worth going to see all the cool decorations including Elvis next to the Jukebox.

The patrons were all friendly, and we ended up having some great conversations. Plus, the pizza was delicious! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great beer, a welcoming atmosphere, and a taste of history. If your near the Airport it is worth going to see. Can’t...

The moment you step inside Hoster Brewing Company, you're greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere with cozy seating and vintage decor, a nod to the brewery's rich history and creating a relaxed and inviting ambiance.

The long bar provides ample seating for patrons, while the comfortable booths and  tables offer additional options for socializing. The large TV screens ensure you can catch your favorite games while enjoying a cold brew.

The star of the show, of course, is the beer. Hoster Brewing Company offers a wide range of craft brews, from historic Dortmunder Lagers, German Ales, and Belgians, to Pale Ales. Their signature Gold Top Dortmunder follows the historic recipe first brewed in 1836 and is a must-try, delivering a crisp, refreshing taste.

If you're looking for a place to unwind, enjoy a great beer, and soak up some history, Hoster Brewing Company is definitely worth a visit. It's a hidden gem, offering a unique and enjoyable experience for...

New on this year's Columbus Ale Trail but by no means a new name in Columbus, Hoster Brewing is an unassuming hole in the wall situated in what seems to be an otherwise desolate industrial park.

I'll admit that I didn't know much about its namesake — I'm only casually aware that it has existed in some form or another a few times over the last century or so — but I can speak for this incarnation: of the six of us in the party, and every beer we tried was a cut above what's served in many of the city's taprooms.

This quality paired with the complementary snacks, functioning jukebox, and cozy Americana-meets-Irish pub aesthetic (beware the whiplash of stepping in from the barren parking lot) marks this brewery as a true diamond in the rough and certainly a new favorite among our group from this year's passport.

My only regret is that it was the middle child of the evening, as I could have easily spent our entire time...

I visited Hoster Brewing with a couple of friends this afternoon. We arrived when the brewery opened. The brewery is situated in an industrial complex and parking is available. The interior has a unique look. There are booths, tables and the bar. Our bartender Ian was very friendly and provided great service. I started off with a flight, which included 4 5-oz. tasters. The brewery had around 12 available beers, so it was tough to choose. Among the 4 beers I ordered in my flight, the Gold Top (Dortmunder) was my favorite. All of the beers I tried had good flavor and were easy to drink. The brewery has a limited food menu. I chose to get a cheese pizza. The pizza was piping hot from the oven. It tasted pretty good. I also ordered a full sized Irish Red. Hoster Brewing offers some of the best beers in the Columbus area. I will certainly return to try more. I highly recommend this place for craft beer enthusiasts.
