NEVER order from this place, especially via Uber Eats. My husband and I tried to order food for a night in and it turned into an hour and half wait with NO FOOD.

After we placed our order via Uber Eats, we received a phone call and a voicemail stating that they were out of curry chicken. We called back less than 30 seconds later and no one picked up. Over the next hour and a half, we called them several times with no response (live called over 10 times). Finally we contacted Uber Eats to see if we could get the message to them an alternative way. Uber Eats couldn't even get a hold of them. Instead they contacted the driver who was to deliver the food and told them to relay the message about the order replacement we preferred. 15 minutes later, still no food. We then received a random angry call from someone saying that we had canceled our order and wasted our time. After they hung up, we called Uber Eats again and canceled the order.

I'm a Caribbean girl myself and I have a lot of patience but over 2 hours of waiting for food is UNACCEPTABLE. We could've saved ourselves the trouble and just have gone to Ena's Caribbean Kitchen and received our food in 15-20 minutes. If you're anything like me and hate a lack of communication and customer service, just go to Ena's Caribbean Kitchen on Cleveland Ave instead. They...

I was in town to visit my cousin and his friend brought in food from the restaurant Island Vibes. It smelled delicious.

By the time we finished what we had to do in his basement, it was late. Island vibes was closed, but I called anyway. The guy who answered the phone said they were closed but if I came soon he would put something together for me.

I was 10 minutes away and I sped over there. When I arrived he apologized got the rice might be cold because they had already cut off the warmers for the night and I told him it was fine. He said the gravy had already been discarded for the night and apologized again. I told him it was fine, I understood they were closed when I called.

I left at 25% tip because they waited on me even after they were closed.

I got to my car and the smell of the delicious food called me and wouldn't let me wait until I got back to my cousin's. The taste of everything was spectacular.

If you are in Columbus and you want to eat some authentic Jamaican cuisine, I implore you to come down to Island vibes restaurant. They treat you like family and the food is delicious. what other restaurant do they still serve you when you call after they're closed? That alone aren't them a 5-star review without even tasting the food, but tasting the food I wish I could give a higher rating. Thank...

Experience from the old man & receiving wings that looked like pigeon wings or Tyson wings was PREPOSTEROUS!

Very disappointed, this has always been one of my favorite restaurants. Old man was rude. My dumplings were raw & refused at first to exchange the food, until I said I’ll bring everything back & call my bank.

Not only that, I wish I would’ve checked the bag. I paid $35 in total but $16 for 6 wings that looked like Tyson frozen wings two different sauces mixed together which I did not ask to be done that way, pool of sauce all over the container, cornbread was crumbles in siren wrap.

$16 for 10 whole real wings at BnR. Soul2go & BnR bar & grill has PHENOMENAL REAL WINGS! I ordered from BnR (Morse Rd & Hamilton) friendly workers, food was amazing too! Clean restaurant & kitchen.

Also, why is there a tip jar? I’m a server/bartender in an upscale restaurant. We make $5/hr & why we get tips. There’s no need for a tip, when no service is being done, except bagging food. I know no one is making $5/hr. Same with Starbucks, why is there a tip jar? They...

Lol! Stop! Stop it! Seriously! Lol lol lol! We ordered curry goat and curry chicken. Rice and peas, plantains, cabbage and dumpling ( we didn’t get the dumpling) However, on a serious note, this is offensive! To portray this food as Jamaican! The curry was basically meat cooked in a gravy! Rice and peas was LITERALLY over cooked white rice ( no coconut or Jamaican flavors at all) and red beans! It was MUSHY AND WET! The plantains were cooked beautifully and the cabbage was not Jamaican style ( More so like a southern American style in which I loved) The goat meat was basically bones and the meat was hard. Again, basically covered in gravy! I’ll say this.. maybe try making the curry powder from scratch and don’t buy it already made. Because for the life of me, I can’t understand how someone could think THIS IS CURRY! It was barely yellow. No curry flavor , pimento, NOTHING! Wow

A very nice local owned restaurant. Not a whole lot of area for dine in, but the food is phenomenal for take out! Driving by caught our attention while in the middle of winter being able to smell the wonderful aroma of island cuisine made us turnaround. The staff was really friendly, and the place is well received by the local residents as they came in packing the place. Plenty of options from main entrees and sides. They also have options of sizes for each main entrees, which is very nice to have. Seasonal availability does play into the menus. Their Curry Goat is authentic, and prepared as would be expected from a homemade aspect that makes it worth the visit!
