Island Vibes Restaurant

NEVER order from this place, especially via Uber Eats. My husband and I tried to order food for a night in and it turned into an hour and half wait with NO FOOD.

After we placed our order via Uber Eats, we received a phone call and a voicemail stating that they were out of curry chicken. We called back less than 30 seconds later and no one picked up. Over the next hour and a half, we called them several times with no response (live called over 10 times). Finally we contacted Uber Eats to see if we could get the message to them an alternative way. Uber Eats couldn't even get a hold of them. Instead they contacted the driver who was to deliver the food and told them to relay the message about the order replacement we preferred. 15 minutes later, still no food. We then received a random angry call from someone saying that we had canceled our order and wasted our time. After they hung up, we called Uber Eats again and canceled the order.

I'm a Caribbean girl myself and I have a lot of patience but over 2 hours of waiting for food is UNACCEPTABLE. We could've saved ourselves the trouble and just have gone to Ena's Caribbean Kitchen and received our food in 15-20 minutes. If you're anything like me and hate a lack of communication and customer service, just go to Ena's Caribbean Kitchen on Cleveland Ave instead. They never disappoint.
