A one star is putting it lightly. Let me just start off by saying this food is in NO WAY authentic Mexican food, and neither is anything in there. The chairs which are just GOD AWFUL when it comes to comfort but it looks "authentic" (it feels like they're trying too hard to be "authentic" and are basically sacrificing higher quality items for that feeling). Furthermore the employees act like high school friends who dropped out to make a below average restaurant (they constantly laugh, whistle, and joke around). The pricing is far worse with a meal being $12.99+ (not including drinks, which are also highly priced). The meal wasn't good either (I ordered fried onions and got raw ones, got stale/undercooked tortillas, chips were the WORST I've ever had because the oil they used to fry them was used 200 too many times, and the food doesn't have the regular white cheese that most Mexican restaurants have. There are so many other complaints I have about the place, but I don't want to waste this much time on a review. I would also like to say that I've been to SO MANY other Mexican restaurants in the area, and this is by far the worst one. Please save your time and money and never go here. Your wallet and stomach will thank you.

Alternative: If you're gonna go to a Mexican restaurant in Columbus then go to Fiesta Mariachi. It has low prices with about $8.99+ a meal (with outrageously low drink prices), great service, and (believe it or not) GOOD FOOD!

So My husband and I have been here many times with no issues and the food and margaritas are always great. Tonight though I noticed on the bill an open food charge of $6.00 on our bill, when we asked what it was for our server tried to say that it was for a second basket of chips. We most definitely didn’t get a second basket because the first one was uneaten beings that they were stale. The server quickly tried to give us $6.00 from his pocket which was odd. I asked another server if there is a $6.00 charge for extra chips and he fumbled with his words and said he didn’t want to get in the middle of it. Being in the restaurant business ourselves something just seems fishy. Either both of those servers are cashing in on adding random amounts to customers bills or the whole place is in on it to make up for being closed down for two months. So basically all I’m saying is look over your bills thoroughly...

The service and food were awful. Our server was inattentive, did not get our orders right, did not offer more drinks, chips, or salsa. Our food took an extremely long time, was incorrect and incomplete, and was cold. Our server did not ask how it was until much too late so we just ate because it had taken so long and we were hungry. We had to flag down other servers to bring things we weren’t served (tortillas with fajitas). There was very little flavor or seasoning and we all agreed our rice and beans were inedible. The server eventually asked how it was and when we answered honestly she said nothing-not even a half-hearted apology. I asked to another server if he was the manager, he asked why, and I insisted that I get to speak with the manager. We each shared our concerns with the manager who ultimately gave us a slight discount and did at least apologize. I will...

I got the “La Casita” Fajitas which included grilled steak, chicken, shrimp and mushrooms. On the side was flour tortillas, beans, mexican rice, guac, sour cream and pico. The service at La Casita was great and our waiter was very attentive. The food overall wasn’t quite that tasty overall. The salsa which came with free chips at the beginning was quite bland and didn’t have a lot of flavor. The sizzling plate of fajita meat had quite a lot more ratio of vegetables than it did meat. Overall the experience was nice but the food is just not worth going back for in my opinion.

Food wasnt as advertised. They gave me a very small burrito. Can't even say it was a burrito. All it had was beef inside of a tortilla and I paid 8.99 for that? Thats a bit ridiculous. Considering the menu advertises that other items come inside the burrito. Tacos were not very good either looked like the food had been pre cooked and just waiting for an order to be placed with that food selection. Only decent thing about the entire ordeal was the chips were warm. Won't be back.

I moved here to Ohio from El Paso, and I was longing for authentic Mexican food. Well, my husband and I happened to stumble upon this amazing restaurant when where we were originally going to go was too crowded. All I can say is I'm thankful for happenstance because this restaurant reminds me of home! The food is absolutely phenomenal, and the service is great! This restaurant has been my go-to for the last 2 weeks.
