My family and I visited this restaurant on 1/14/24. Our initial server, Bethany, was absolutely amazing! She was kind and very knowledgeable about the menu! She recommended our appetizers and entrees. The food was prepared quickly and was tasty. Bethany was very sweet and shared that she was leaving a bit early to go home to her newborn baby. We asked for the receipt to be certain that we were able to tip her before she left. She promptly brought the receipt; she was given a 25% tip in cash in the amount of $15.
After Bethany left, Dillian, another server, completed our checkout process. He did absolutely nothing! Bethany had already cleared the table and brought out to go containers before she left. He simply swiped the credit card to finalize the checkout process. He was unpleasant, to say the least, and a bit crass. He stood and watched us put on our coats as another party waited for our table, although there was another cleared table directly behind us that was available. We felt very rushed. However, we quickly gathered our things and exited the restaurant.
We always check our credit card transactions, especially after dining out or making purchases. To our disbelief, Dillian falsified and illegally changed the $0 tip to a 20% tip for himself. I am absolutely appalled by his illegal actions. He was not authorized to make a change to the credit charges without consent. He needs to be removed immediately! How many people has he done this to before? It's disgusting and a false sense of entitlement.
Although the food was good, Bethany was great, and the owner was kind, we will never patronize this restaurant as long as Dillian is there, and practices like this are acceptable. Our bank has been notified, and the process to dispute the charges has already started.
Please check your bank statements, receipts, and use cash...

First visit. The food was overall good. My partner had ramen with pork belly, which she liked, while I had ramen with pork tenderloin which in my opinion tasted a bit old. The service was great, with an employee helping us get seated quickly as soon as a table was vacated. The interior was nicely decorated with the exception of the bar area, which had a plastic sheet between the diners and the kitchen, probably for sanitary reasons. The valve is good as we ate for under $40 pre-tip. Google Map users note: navigation would have taken us to an alley to the right of the restaurant. The location is to the left of the popcorn store in the front.
UPDATE; Second visit, this time with friends. Food was excellent, all four of us enjoyed our meals. We were seated at about 5:45. Our waiter was Dylan, who was cool and unfriendly which didn't really bother me as he was efficient and attentive. We tipped at least our normal 20%. At 8:15, we were asked to leave as other people were waiting for a seat, which was fine. We left without complaint. However, on the way out, as one of our party was passed by Dylan, he muttered 'thank you' in a snotty sarcastic tone. I'm fairly sure he didn't mean for us to hear it, but it WAS heard. We may have been somewhat in the wrong by staying too long, but we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, and this reaction was TOTALLY uncalled for. It's very unlikely we will...
Read moreI was just there on this evening. I had never been here so I had a few questions. The lady who took my order was a bit sarcastic which I did not appreciate. They had sweet tea and non sweet tea. I asked was it’s tea super sweet as I didn’t want that. She said she made it but couldn’t taste it bc she’s diabetic. I asked if she had a small cup so I could taste it. She said I need to finish your order first. After the order she gives me a large cup. I asked for a small cup so I could see if I liked it. She said those were the only cups. Thank for a small sip of the tea and did not like it. I told her I didn’t want to order a drink. She tells me she already charged me. I said how could you charge me for something I wasn’t sure if I wanted? I asked my son if he wanted a drink as the only other options were soda, and I did t drink soda. So he said that’s fine. The food I ordered was NOT what I expected. It wasn’t horrible but me not my son did not like it and therefore did not eat it. We ended up going to another restaurant for dinner. I called about 10 min ago to ask for a manger and was told there’s no manager here at this time and then hung up on. I did not get to voice my concerns and she didn’t offer to take a message for the manager. I find it unfair I spent 20.00 for a meal for don’t even consume. But I will be calling the manager...
