If you're in Columbus, OH and craving some delicious, authentic Chinese noodles, Kung Fu Noodles is the place to go! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the fast and friendly service. The staff made sure to get my order right and were efficient with their time.
The Beef Noodle Soup with added spicy hot pepper & numbing Sichuan pepper was absolutely fantastic. The rich, savory broth had just the right amount of spice and heat, and the numbing sensation from the Sichuan peppercorns added a unique kick that was truly memorable. This reminds me of Chongqing noodles.
The Dan Dan Noodles were equally excellent. The sauce had the perfect balance of spicy, savory, and tangy, and the noodles were cooked to perfection—chewy with just the right amount of bite. The dish was packed with flavor.
Lastly, the Egg and Tomato Noodles were a comforting, homey dish that I couldn’t get enough of. The combination of eggs and tomatoes with the noodles created a satisfying, umami-rich flavor profile, making it the perfect balance to the spicier dishes I had earlier.
All in all, Kung Fu Noodles delivers top-notch food with great service. If you love bold flavors and fresh noodles, this is a spot you don't want to miss!...
Read moreWe first came here opening weekend. We order the spicy lamb skewers and classic lan zhou beef noodle soup. The food came out quick and was good but with so much competition near by, it didn’t establish itself as a stand out.
We can back a second time about a year later. The food and service was quick. Ordered the spicy potato chips, braised beef noodle soup, and steamed cold noodles with pork.
The potato chips are boiled, just like it was states in the menu. So these are thinly sliced potatoes boiled and hot sauce is added on later. These were difficult to pick up with utensils as the sliced of potatoes strange and slippery.
The braised beef noodle soup was really good. These texture of the noodles were soft but not mushy. The broth was really good, maybe a little heavier on the soy sauce compared to other braised beef noodle soups I’ve had. The beef slices could be more tender.
The steam cold noodles with pork is decent. It’s a bit in the salty side. The noodles are thicker and are a different texture than the noodles on the soup. The spicy wasn’t just spicy but also flavorful.
Overall this place is decent but nothing really stood out amongst the...
Read moreThis place is awesome, a real hidden gem. Food is great, and very original compared to a lot of other Chinese restaurants in Columbus, in my opinion. It's not the same old stuff you can get at any Chinese-American restaurant. It's cool that they make their own noodles, and a lot of other stuff from scratch. The prices are good too, and you get a lot of food.
The Dan Dan noodles were very good, and I'm pretty much addicted to the lamb skewers and the handmade pot-stickers. I was told the Dan Dan noodles are very spicy, and they are, but it's not anything too crazy if you can handle Shin ramen or Buldak cream-carbonara noodles, or what I'd call a mild spice level. I will be back to eventually try more and more stuff on their menu. I'm looking forward to the Lanzhou beef noodle soup.
The service was great too, the servers here are nice and friendly, and know a lot about the food, and seem like they enjoy working here which is a plus. As someone who has spent years in the service/ food industry, this is a huge green flag and we should all support good local businesses. Very comfy vibes, and definitely worth trying out if you are...
