Lug Nutz Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Columbus

My overall first impression of this establishment was good when I first came in, it quickly changed. We were seated pretty fast, that was the only fast part of our experience. Our waitress was rarely seen and on occasions it felt like we were being avoided. We stared by ordering an appetizer which ended up being the onion rings, for 8 dollars and an extra dollar for dipping sauce, for 9 dollars we got eight onion rings, only 3 of them being good sized (picture attached) and we waited an extra 10 minutes for our dipping sauce to be delivered. After waiting 1 and a half hours we where finally served, I ordered the lug nutz sub, the bread was hard as a rock, where I couldn’t cut it with my knife, the meat also had a funky taste to it as if it had been cooked in the grease of another meat. My guest ordered the patty melt and we had the same issues, except for the bread was soaking wet with grease. The overall visit was not pleasant and for 2 people...

Friday May 9 at 3 pm . We shall start will the pros.. Cleanliness outstanding! Wait staff outstanding! Beer was cold and yummy. Patty melt fresh and delicious! Ranch dipping sauce wonderful! The cons.. Onion ring appetizer was old and thrown back in the fryer before served to us.. My tater tots were old and thrown back into the fryer they actually had a green tint to them and when you squeezed them grease ran out of them.. The chicken strips or what I would actually call a chicken finger were so small and were preformed chicken grossness.. I would have rather gotten chicken nuggets from McDonald's then eat them.. Husband said they tasted ok and the honey mustard was good.. 47.00 dollars pretty expensive to be served reheated food I think.. Will NOT be...

Update 12/17/24: 1 month later and owner doesn't respond to reviews they don't like. Only responds to glowing reviews (likely friends and family).

Looking at owners' responses to first month reviews says it all. Admits to "kinks" but does nothing to make it right with customer that paid 56 dollars for crappy food they are "working out the kinks on". It's all about the $$$ over customer service or making things right. No invitation back to make it right?. $28 steak tips......
