It has been over a year since I had my favorite dish. It did not disappoint. My wife went there with the kids and brought me a carry out.
I always order the BEEF SOFT TACO PLATTER (no onions). I always add their signature Italian dressing and their homemade mild sauce. SO GOOD.
Even after a 20 min drive home, the food was still HOT The soft tortillas were fresh. The beef was seasoned perfectly. Perfect ratio of meet lettuce and cheese. The side of refried pinto beans was tasty, the rice was good, just not a rice person.
I took a couple bites and of my rice and beans together, Delicious. Then on to the main items. I DEVOURED those soft tacos. Then took the remains that fell out and mixed with the beans and rice, I added more mild sauce and Italian dressing, put it on some chips…I was in HEAVEN.
BTW, Wife brought me some Chips and Salsa too. They were very good.
If you are looking for a different taste and experience of Tex Mex (Brownsville, Texas) put this place on your “to do list”.
NO COMPLAINTS.

Read moreI have to put my own personal experience because I CANNOT absolutely CANNOT understand how anyone can like anything about this place I went to the one in grove city with my husband and my children and first look i thought it was too dark and just an awkward setting in general I sat down and looked around and was absolutely horrified to see that there was open salsa sitting on the tables one I have no idea how that isn't a health code violation it looked like it had sat there for days and then to move on to my next point I asked about a kids menu they said they didn't have one so for people saying its family friendly definitely not! Then we had to pay for chips and salsa no Mexican restaurant I've ever been to have I ever paid for chips and salsa and then we get our food and it looked like a hamburger helper taco meal I took one bite and felt sick I coming from Hispanic heritage was absolutely petrified at the thought that that was considered "Authentic" I couldn't even eat the food it was that bad and that has never happened...
Read moreAccidentally stumbled upon this really tiny Columbus gem while in the area for a suit turned into a really pleasant surprise. Wanted a quick bite for lunch, walked in and felt like I stepped back in time! I took a seat to review the menu and could tell there was so much history on the walls! The business has been serving since 1968, which was really impressive to stay open that long especially for a small restaurant such as this.
Up front, we were greeted by a really pleasant older gentleman who I believe has worked there for over 30 years. We ordered the coneys, and they tasted just like I'd imagine homemade coneys would - simply tasty! We couldn't get over how nice and positive the gentleman was, and my fiance wants me to mention in this review that she wants to put the cute older guy in her pocket and carry him around. The guy even snuck us some oatmeal cookies. I was pleasantly surprised to find this little mom and pop gem. Would definitely be pack next time I'm...
