Maverick's Restaurant — Restaurant in Colville

I teetered between 1 and 2 stars. The place tends to be very clean which is surprising given the very low quality food. It’s like the cheapest food from Cisco vomited all over their grill and then they still forgot to cook it all the way.

If they bring uncooked food to your table multiple times they don’t discount your meal any (inedible) even though they never brought a fully cooked version. They skimp on toppings for some stuff pretty bad; like undetectable toppings on a hamburger that were listed specifically for it. The syrup for pancakes etc appears to be motor oil without quite enough fake/bizarre sugar to make it even taste sweet. (I’d have paid $2-3 for real maple syrup). Etc.

They’re friendly but if they didn’t keep the place so clean they’d be like a worse option then Denny’s in a ghetto area of LA metro. (Hint: Denny’s there is horrific and nothing like in WA/ID/OR/MT where it’s a respectable chain)

Does Colville deserve better? They keep going to Mavricks over and over, and have let several good restaurants suffer and close. It’s like if the price is right and the plate is full-ish enough they’ll support it no matter how awful the food happens to be.

What a great experience! We had breakfast on Saturday morning and Charity was a real sweet gal!! I am eating Keto and asked if I could have salad instead of hash browns and the toast? She smiled and cheerfully said "of course!" Yummy omelet and great salad! We were so pleased with the food, enjoyed our wonderful waitress, we made reservations for 6 for dinner and had a great steak dinner!

Our waitress that evening had only been there 3 days and yes she was struggling!! But that was ok, we had a great time, good food and they even let us stay after hours so we could visit. (The restaurant cleaning up getting ready for the next day and said happily, "please stay and enjoy!!")

Nothing like what we experienced the night before, we had gone to the South Main Restaurant & Sports Bar and what a disappointment (read my review on their site)! They were NOT willing to work with me on my Keto adventure. There loss!

Absolutely love this restaurant in Colville! Great food! Just fabulous people! They take the time to know you and treat you like family! It is my go to place to eat when I am there! My parents go there often! They have for years now. They have become like family to my parents, me, and my daughter. This is how wonderful they are for an example. My grandpa had a beautiful plant that was given to my mom when he passed away which in turn was given to me. When I got divorced, the plant was given back to me dead. Absolutely broke my heart. Finding a replacement for the plant wasn't easy. In fact, nine years later I noticed the Maverick had the same plant. I told them my plight. They,bwithout blinking an eye, carefully got me a start, wrapped it in wet paper towels, and put it in a cup for me.
