I don't know how this place could be voted other than slowest around for the past decade. Please Paul add your accolades to the response to make yourself appear medicore. I love how they try to have a disclaimer that "Students aren't back so we are short staffed.
Not short staffed enough to take an order quickly then wait on it.
We arrived at 805 the Manager took my order at 806 and we got our three items at 832. 25 minutes for ice cream? You just scoop it right?
Two scoops and a custard that I am pretty sure wasn't even custard but I spent all my patience waiting just to get out of there and didn't want to spend any more time being ignored at the window so I just took what they gave me. Custard is significantly more expensive mind you but we needed to get out of the 25 minute waiting purgatory.
They have enough staff to take orders in the drive-through and walk ice cream out for drive through cars but not enough to scoop it for walk up customers.
The "college" kid card is so overplayed and honestly, finals were two weeks ago for most Michigan Universities.
Seriously not the customers problem you can't figure out staffing or just prioritize drive thru.
Covid was 5 years ago. Stop the horrible customer service, Paul. Its bad.
UPDATE Funny thing is we have been here before and I always tell my kids when they want to go back that the wait is too long and I would rather not. We made a mistake trying it out again.

We have been going to the DT since I got married in 2002 and we enjoyed to take our kids there and saw them growing and still wanted to go there with us or friends. We celebrated many of their accomplishments at the DT and we loved it. I was even happier when you introduced vegan ice cream, since one of my children and myself suffered from lactose intolerance. Mind you there was only 2 people in front of me and my fiancee and no one in drive thru. I had ordered before my fiancee. My fiancee got his ice cream and then the family of 4 got their ice cream and I have yet to recieve it. We ask about mine. The older lady that we asked RUDELY said we make it by the way it comes in the screen. She then said after rolling her eyes what did you get and what size. I said I had ordered a small cotton candy flavor burst cone. She says rudely what size? Cone, waffle or bowl? Then came back and said here is your ice cream and handed me a large inside of a small without asking me if it was okay and was still rude about it. Prices are high.
