Glengary Inn — Restaurant in Commerce Charter Township

This is my new go to place for my once a week night out with a couple of my buds! The food is above average but nothing that dances off the taste buds but it tastes good and is filling and is the right price! I am glad I found this place as I am all for a nice quiet bar with an older crowd where I can just sit and relax with my friends and actually TALK to them and not have to scream for them to hear me over loud music and a bunch of screaming kids! And don't let the fact that they hardly have anything on tap let you steer away from here, the bottled beer is priced low enough to keep me coming!

So simply put if you want a low key place during the week to relax with decent and simple food, cold beer and relaxed atmosphere take...

I don't know what to say, this place was always great, except for last Wednesday. My dad and I stopped in for a couple sliders, a couple drinks, and soup -- this was our lunch/dinner that day. Later that night and the following day, we had serious diarrhea and stomach sickness.

That's too bad... I used to come here all the time because I lived on Woodlawn Ct. So I thought, hey, it's been quite some time since I was here, let's stopped in.

I'm bummed out! Because like I said, this place was always excellent -- I used to love the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere... I don't know what to say, I don't know what happened? I guess on a positive note, the food tasted good at the moment... Maybe,...

Definitely your typical hole-in-the-wall atmosphere BUT it's cozy, inviting (come as you are - kind of attitude which I love) the people are great and the food is AWESOME. Kristina, Gina, Trixie, Linda, JR...everyone there is just good people. We have tried the French onion soup, minestrone, chicken tenders, soft pretzels, sliders, potato skins, chicken buffalo dip, quesadillas... and they were all wonderful (and by the way, I take my ranch dressing very seriously. I ordered a side salad and it was your average side salad but it was fresh, tasty and the ranch was great). Our mixed drinks and beer were great too. We are here a lot because it's consistent and easy going, fun atmosphere....
