Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Commerce City

I put an order in online, it came out to about $30. All is fine, I get the notification that the order is ready so I drive 15 minutes to go pick it up. I get there, there are NO lights in the parking lot. I walk up to the door and it’s locked even though it’s only 10pm. But whatever, okay i get it sometimes they lock the door for their safety. I ring the doorbell, and no one answers. I can see them all in the back sitting on a table, laughing and I can hear music playing loudly. They don’t even look at the door even though I am ringing. So I start knocking on it. Still don’t look. At this point I am like knocking pretty loudly and I yell “excuse me! “ for 5 minutes. While im waiting, some freaking weirdo runs up silently behind me and grabs my arm and I scream. The guy doesn’t say anything to me but I push him off and run to my car. He proceeds to walk up to my car and knock on my window over and over again. He finally walks away and I see him he’s across the road at another business walking the opposite direction. I call the dominos store and someone finally answers and I say “hi excuse me, I’ve been waiting outside for almost 15 to pick my order up. I put in an order online and it’s ready for pick up.” The person on the phone was EXTREMELY rude and said”I’m why haven’t you just come inside and gotten your order. “ and sounded annoyed like I was making their life difficult. I said “. Well excuse me I tried to open the door and it was locked even though it says the lobby is open. I knocked and rang on the doorbell and I was ignored and while I was waiting I was harassed and grabbed by some random person. Can I please just get my food.” They hung up on me. I just left. I’m extremely displeased. This was my first time ever going to this location and I will NEVER be going back. Because of their carelessness I was assaulted in the parking lot, and their unprofessionalism when I called the store.

They had the door locked and had music playing so loud they were oblivious that a customer was outside and not only that because they weren’t paying attention, I was put in a dangerous situation where I was literally physically assaulted and they STILL didn’t hear me scream and I won’t have dinner for the night. Worst service ever. Won’t be returning back to this...

Ordered a pizza at 6:20 pm, it said 45-55 min delivery. 95 mins later, the tracker app tells me its delivered. Walk to my front door. Nothing there. Call the restaurant and with no empathy at all that its now 8:00 pm, kids need to be in bed soon, there was obviously a reason why I ordered dinner instead of cooked something for them and not only was the delivery LATE but after it said it was delivered IT NEVER CAME!! The options I was given...they'll remake it (BUT it's also 1 hour till delivery from that point and to be honest, they couldn't make it to my house the first time, why would I think they would make it a 2nd time?), Refund my $60 in 2-5 days (that's interesting so I have to float you $60 for YOUR mistake and I still have no dinner!) or they'll give me some coupons for my next order. (insert sarcastic comment about a "next order" here). So on top of being completely incapable of delivering pizza the customer service was well below a standard I hold for even Dominoes, blatantly lied to about not being able to get ahold of their drivers to just check where they might have made a wrong turn so I could go pick up dinner that was left on someone else porch, no sense of urgency in the offer to remake and/or send another driver out ASAP. If this was the first time at this location this had happened, I would be forgiving but a few months ago after waiting 90 minutes for a pizza that said it would be delivered in 40, I called the store and they said they are short on drivers and my order hadn't even left the building yet, so I had to DRIVE to the store to pick it up or fear it would have been another 45+ minutes with a household of hungry people. Just a terrible experience...

Was going to give the benefit out the doubt. Now I’ll preface by saying that I order food there all the time! I ordered there a few weeks ago and spent almost $100 on a delivery. I’ll also say that I always use Apple Pay! Well that was until a week and a half ago. I went in to get an offer redeemed, they said for my inconvenience they’d waive my free pizza. But it’s not something they can do if a free pizza is given for delivery only. Mind you they had delivery shut down both Saturday night and Sunday. I went in on Sunday and thought everything was great. Since I had to use my debit card to pay, I went ahead and used the reader.

BIG MISTAKE!!

On Monday morning I get a notification. Someone tried placing a 16 dollar at dominos around 9am. Weird, they apparently don’t open till 10. Mind you my bank caught that and declined the charge. I called the store and the assistant manager confirmed their openers come in at 9am. I explained my situation and asked for cameras to be looked at and a call back. It’s not Wednesday night and I have yet to receive a call back. Goes to show how little they cared about this! So please be careful of paying in person! Because mind you they used my card number!

So please always check cards and methods of payments! Apple Pay and Google pay are great since they block the physical card number from getting to the vendor. I just hope this doesn’t happen to someone else. And good luck trying to use my number again, that card has since been disabled. I now have to wait 7-10 days for a new card!
