Farmer Boys — Restaurant in Commerce

My friend took me to eat there because she said she loves their french toast. It's the type of place where you order at the counter, they give you a number, you find where you want to sit, and they then bring the food out to to you.

I ordered a burger with fries and she ordered her French toast with an extra side of bacon. For some reason, the cashier could not understand about the extra side of bacon. Both my friend and I had to explain to the cashier that my friend wanted not only the bacon that comes with the order, but also an additional side order, AND she wanted the bacon extra crispy. When they brought our order out her bacon was soggy and there was no extra side. My friend had to return the bacon given her and request the side order again because the cashier never added it to the order.

Such a small thing but I expected at least an apology for the mistake but no, all we got was a longer wait time while they brought out the crispy bacon and an attitude as if we had done something wrong.

So even though it was my first time at Farmer Boys, I did not like how they handled this small incident and I do not expect to return. Also it was a pricey for the food given in my opinion. My friend still loves their French toast and she was not bothered by the...

First time at this location but I was wanting some farmer boy and had a coupon that expired today 10/18/22 (That gives more reason to come) I didn't know what to get and asked the young cashier with the curly hair what was good, he was knowledgeable in the menu and helped me decide. Shout outs to cashier, he was patient, knowledgeable, curtios. I didnt have to wait long before one of the workers was looking for me and asked where I wanted to sit. They had forgotten my avocado but the cook fixed that asap ( shout out to the cook too) he apologized and made my order right. The time is 5:34pm, I had read some reviews before coming and was not sure about it but its the closest one. Maybe it's the time I came or the staff working in this Sunday but my experience was excellent, I waited in my car a bit when there was a line to shorten down before I came in to order so I wouldnt have to wait long. They corrected my order, and all in all they were all helpful. I normally don't give 5 stars but this time I gotta give credit where credit is do. Only thing wish they did was make a burger combo 5.99 to compete with bk burgers and mc Donald's etc because food is kinda pricey when you have to buy separate. Fries 2.99, drink...

On two separate occasions now, they have gotten phone orders wrong. a week ago I ordered 15 bacon breakfast burritos, 1 with avocado and 2 with no cheese, all the rest regular. Well I get 1 with no cheese and all the rest regular. Today I ordered 10 bacon breakfast burritos 1 with avocado, and 2 with no cheese. I explained to them to be sure to get it right this time and also to write on the 2 with no cheese and the 1 with avocado. Well would you believe it, it happened again. I picked uop the order and said to them you guys labeled the 3 that are special, response was yes. Im home now I open the box and lord behold only two are labeled no cheese... I called the manager said she did it herself she put avocado in one of the ones with no cheese... I had to repeat my order about 4 times until she understood the order properly. Her solution: ill give you $1 credit on your next visit! Farmer Boys! listen up!! If you have someone that's going to answer the phone there they need to be able to understand English words! then the manager blamed the cashier...
