Nicola's — Restaurant in Commerce

This was my second time visiting a strip club, but I’ve never felt so unwelcome. When we arrived, we asked the people outside where we could park our motorcycle. An older woman looked at me with an arrogant attitude and gave unclear instructions. Eventually, someone said to park “between the cars,” but apparently that wasn’t right. Security came over and told us to move it, which we did. He also said they wouldn’t be responsible if anything got stolen.

After paying, we walked inside with our helmets. A woman who guided us to our table said we could leave them on a chair, because “no one takes them anyway.” Soon after, a waitress asked if we wanted to order drinks, but there were no menus. I felt rushed and told her we needed a moment.

Later, security came back and told us helmets weren’t allowed inside, and we had to place them outside on the ground. I found that very unprofessional — my first strip club experience was very different, and they took care of our belongings at the entrance.

It took a while before the dancers started performing. They seemed unfriendly and had an attitude. Even the customers next to us gave me looks like I didn’t belong there. It really felt like foreigners weren’t welcome.

What stood out to me the most is how people who don’t order drinks or spend money on the dancers are treated differently — as if your presence only matters if you’re spending money. That’s a horrible feeling. It felt dehumanizing, like we were less than others just because we didn’t immediately give money.

Later, when I told the waitress we were about to leave and went to the restroom, my boyfriend stayed seated. While I was gone, she took our drinks and replaced them with drinks for new people, without saying anything. I couldn’t find my boyfriend until I stepped outside — he had already left, upset about what had happened.

Overall, the experience was cold, disrespectful, and unwelcoming. The atmosphere — from both staff and some guests — was unkind. I absolutely would not recommend this place. If you’re not spending money constantly, they treat you like you don’t belong there, and that’s...

I have been coming to Nicolas for years. I decided to come since I am in town visiting my parents for the Christmas holiday. Soon as I enter I noticed they have remodeled the place and it was looking nice. I sat at the bar and ordered “grey goose “ Vodka. Since the girls have gotten much uglier I had a few drinks . I was gettting my buzz on and I was feeling good. I had a few lap dances. I paid for 3 songs. The first song is not even over the girl says your lap dances are done. She had to ask the man collecting the money and he said no you have to continue this was a red flag. She came back finished what I paid for. I stayed a little longer it was not getting any better. I left i woke up the next day with the most horrible hang over. I get drunk all the time I know how it feels like. This was not like a grey goose vodka hang over. This was more like a fake cheap licor hangover. I have no idea what vodka they pour in their over priced goose bottles. Been coming here about 20 years and I will never return. Very bad business. Hope the city shuts this place down. The alcohol they served me was fake it was not grey goose. Been drinking grey goose for 20 years too. I know the difference. I guess business is slow so they use cheap fake alcohol and over charge...

BTW -The Night Manager Russian/Armenian guy wouldn't let me in this is a weird dude. However i,m a regular at this place. Here's my UNBIASED review.The nightshift dancers are very arrogant/conceited.........you will sit for long periods of time without personal attention. If you wanted to get ignored you could of stayed home.(especially the EXTREMELY LARGE BREASTED LATINA BRUNNETTE) who seems to think that you should just hand over wads of cash for the privilege of her company NOT. Back to the streets for her. Stage dances are good,however, lap dances are below average, companionship is lousy. The daytime shift girls are alot more respectable. They will give you a more quality experience. Lap dances are also better. Daytime is very laid back kind of slow...but nighttime really fails to pick up the pace...Stick with the dayshift girls.
