Called in an order this evening from the websiteās menu. One of the items we ordered was the nigiri combination, which the website lists as $10 (8/4/20). When we got up to the drive through window to pay, the total bill was higher than we expected. I called the girl back to the window to make sure she had the right order- she said the nigiri combo is $20. I pulled up the website and showed her that it said $10. She said her manager was on the phone, but would be over to speak with us. The manager came to the window and I showed him the website and the $10 price. He said the website is wrong, that they thought it had been corrected a while back, but that a customer yesterday had told them the same thing. He said the girl who took my order on the phone should have told me. He also showed me the paper menu with the $20 price. I asked, āWell, since the website menu says $10, can you honor that pricetoday, and weāll know for next time?ā He said no. We had them take the sushi off of our order (we really should have canceled the whole thing, but we were hungry and in a hurry) and we will probably not go back. The food was ok, not great. The tumeric noodles had no tumeric flavor at all. When I looked at the receipt again, I noticed they apparently also charged a fee for paying with a card. They didnāt tell us they were going to do that either. This was just poor customer service. They should have honored the price since the error online was not told to us when we placed the order. How many other menu items are priced wrong, and people are paying more without...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to naganos on 8/23/17 with 2 of my friends we sat down....and was greeted by a very friendly waitress. We ordered drinks appetizer and food all was going well until we got our food which looked amazing. We tasted our steak and it tasted spoiled like meat that has gotten to warm or sitting in its own blood. I asked my 2 friends to taste it to make sure it wasnt just my taste messed up and for sure it tasted the same to them and even our to go order steak tasted nasty. We told the waitress and she handled it well And asked what we wanted instead. She promptly had the food replaced and while it was cooking the manager walked to our table and asked what the issue was. We told her what was wrong and she immediately told us the steak was fresh and she hasnt had any other complaints today. I kindly told her the steak was spoiled and she told me maybe i was sick and had messed up taste I told her that 2 other plates and seperate people had tasted it the same way.... The manager then proceeds to scream.at me at my table during operating hours that it cost her money to replace our food.... I then told her I was a paying customer and it wasnt costing her anything... She called us RACIST....ACROSS THE RESTRAUNT SCREAMING IT... Saying she worked her ass off for 67 yrs and we were racist because they served us spoiled steak... I have never been treated that way I left the waitress a 15.00 tip because she was awesome... I will never go back to Naganos and we will be contacting Channel 9 News Beware...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in today because I was craving Sushi. Guess what, no one is on staff at this time to make sushi. Ok, I will change it up to Hot Wings. Nope, no Hot Wings in the kitchen to be cooked. I felt bad for our waitress left to face customers and tell them what is left to order. I ended up settling on a beef dish that didn't taste fresh. Again, I dont blame the waitress. She did what she could with what little she was given. I speak to the manager and simply ask why they couldn't hang a simple sign telling folks before they come into a Japanese restaurant that sushi is not available until after a certain time when the sushi chef comes in. She tells me "yeah, next time I do this". Next time? No, you are the manager, do it now. Do your job and inform the customer. At the very least, say you are sorry for your lack of ability and make it up to the customer. While the manager is at it, make it up to your waitress for making her job so hard with your lack of ability to do your job. I understand labor shortages and supply chain issues. What I dont understand is management that wants to coast thru their job on a day to day basis, pawning all the problems off on the wait staff and cooks. DO YOU JOB OR QUIT AND LET SOMEONE ELSE WHO DOES CARE HAVE IT. The real kicker, after explaining to the manager how disappointing the meal was, she still charged...
