Edited to respond to owner: I think it is excellent you sold out on your last day and I completely understand that aspect. But ma’am, if you were closed, why were we able to open the door when we first arrived? You WERE open and your store was full of people. Why wasn’t it mentioned to us that you were closed and that we would need to take it to go? If I knew you would take away the restroom, lights, and trashcans - I would have gone to McDonald’s. If I knew you were going to not care for your guests, we would have left. And if you were not open at 8:00pm, please update your hours listed online as it reflects 9:00pm closing time. If you’d like a time stamped photo - I will share it was not 9pm. We walked in around 8, you said you didn’t have ice cream but had snow cones, we stepped outside to discuss and then when my father in law went to open the door not 2 minutes later, the door was locked. So we ordered from the window.
Treat your people better. How about next time try communicating that you’re closed? Apologize and say have a good night. NOT respond to them online and say you should’ve never come to the window…
If you want to be treated like you do not matter to the business you are supporting, this is your place! We have been here a few different times. We brought my in laws about 2 weeks ago when they were in town for a visit. This experience has made me not want to return.
When we arrived at 8 (business supposed to close at 9) we were told they ran out of ice cream but we could get snow cones. We were disappointed but ultimately decided to stay and order snow cones instead of finding somewhere else to get ice cream as we had already driven 15 mins to get here. I asked and another member of our group asked if they had all of the flavors. The lady said yes they had flavors. We ordered from the outside window as they locked the door to the inside right after we arrived. (They were supposed to be open another hour) As we were waiting for our orders, she yelled out the window that they didn’t have 4 of the flavors we wanted so we had to get alternates. She came out and took the trash cans inside before we got our orders so we had nowhere to put our trash. And since she locked the inside, we had nowhere to use the restroom. The real kicker is, we were sitting in their outdoor seating area and THEY TURNED ALL THE LIGHTS OUT ON US. It was pitch black and you couldn’t even see your snow cone. I will never return to a business that treats their customers this way. She had no issues taking our money before turning everything off on...
Read moreI really enjoyed the first couple of times I came to Gigi’s, they have an ice cream flavor that no other ice cream place has, it is my absolute favorite and try to call in to see if they have it before I come. I will tell you that my self and my friends and family will never step foot in that place again or give them any type of business after the extremely rude conversation I just had with the owner. All I asked was if they had the flavor in stock and she was completely unprofessional and rude with the time of her voice and the way she responded. She was mad that I called, and clearly irritated that I wanted to come in and spend money supporting her business. I call because it’s a 35 minute drive from my house so I go out of my way just to come, but now I won’t ever. Thank you Gigi for your horrible...
Read moreWent to GiGi's for dinner and was caught by surprise. I ordered a cheesesteak expecting a decent but probably a mediocre sandwich at best. I was wrong. It was the BEST cheesesteak that I have ever had. The thing that made it so good was the meat. It was thinly shaved pieces of actual ribeye steak, not chipped pieces of who knows what kind of meat with filler, this was the real deal, actual steak that was seasoned to perfection! I have had a lot of cheesesteaks from all over the country and this was the best tasting cheesesteak meat I have ever had. If you get a chance try the cheesesteak at GiGi's. Oh and by the way, the ice cream is...
