Pho Saigon Oldie — Restaurant in Conroe

Wife and I tried this place for the first time. Staff were super nice and easy to talk to. We ordered Vietnamese Eggrolls for the appetizer and the Wife ordered the Grilled Pork Chop & Egg plate and I had the Shaking Beef "Bo Luc Lac." It was kind of funny because I asked for the "Bo Luc Lac" and at first they said they didn't have it, but the nice guy, think his name was Dan, was just a bit confused, and then I asked for the Shaking Beef and he got it. Also, wife asked to make sure about the egg coming with the meal, and he mentioned it did not come with it. So we kind of thought that was strange, but didn't worry about it. The Eggrolls came out fairly quickly and they were fantastic. The Chili Oil that that they have on the tables is phenomenal and one of the best I have had. The mains arrived and my Wife's pork chop plate did indeed come with an egg, so that worked out. WOW!!! The pork chop was just full of flavor and so tender and tasty. My Shaking Beef was really good, but I was expecting a more traditional style like the ones that come with a side of salt and pepper with lime to squeeze in it. I did ask about this and they explained they are doing things a bit different, and were super kind and even brought me out lime and a dish for the pepper and salt. This dish over all was not what I expected, but it was really really good and I cleaned my plate. If you are expecting the traditional "Bo Luc Lac" you may have to ask for the lime, salt, and pepper, but they will take care of you. Also, Dan let us try some of their broth from their pho. Really great people and we will be back to try...

My family is adamant of going anywhere Pho or any Vietnamese restaurant we are fond of Japanese, Korean, Mexican cuisine but this is an exemption. We saw thr 5 star in Google Review and we just gave it a try. We ordered the Pho and then the rice meal. The Pho noodles are tasty not like the other pho we tried before that we still have to add alot of condiments to meet our taste. The noodle servings enough for us family of 5 to enjoy. The rice meals is really the game changer since the grilled chicken and pork met the the Asian palate we have. Deliciously good to be honest.

The chef/owner even went out to make sure everything in our meal has been met. Very polite and accomodating to everyone.

We also tried their drinks this one is a bonus you can never go wrong with VN cofee, Thai tea but their peach drinks is a must try!

Amazing Vietnamese restaurant in a brand new area! My dad Googled "Best New Restaurant in Montgomery" and this place popped up so we decided to come try it out.

Chef Dan did an amazing job with the Long Rib Pho which was fully loaded with all the protein you could want with hot broth. Fried ramen was flavorful and lots of meat and vegetables and the special vermicelli bowl had so much meat as well.

Kevin I believe was the manager and was so kind to make us some drinks for a special occasion. Valentine's Day + Birthday.

All the servers were so kind and friendly as well as attentive. We will certainly come back here to try other menu items and highly recommend Pho Saigon Oldie to all locals...
