This place has either gone downhill, or the last time I was here, I got the only good item they had. A couple years ago I went here with a friend, and I really enjoyed it. Yesterday I returned with another one of my friends, expecting to be satisfied once again. I ordered a wet burrito. I was confused when they brought it out...It looked like Nachos. I actually brought it up to the cashier and asked "This is a Wet Burrito?" She replied "Yup, that's how we make it." I walked away without saying a word, as I tried to be as nice as I could. After digging through my Nachos, I found the taco-sized burrito at the bottom on the pile of chips. I'm sorry, but that is NOT a wet burrito! That's embarrassing! I was hoping the quesadilla I ordered would make up for it. Nope! I expected a steak quesadilla, not an overly cheesy quesadilla with hardly any meat in it. And finally, my friend ordered a pizza grinder. Can't mess that up right? Wrong! It tasted like they got the cheapest pepperoni they could find, put old tomato sauce on some cheap bread and baked it. Wow! You can argue and say "You don't get a burrito at a grinder place," But everything here was terrible! "Piper's, where you leave unsatisfied." Oh and one last thing. Ironically, as someone else was walking out, he said "I'm surprised this place is still in business." I...
Read moreRecently new in town and have visited Piper's Grinders Galore probably a dozen times by now. I am very much a fan of the food, prices and workers!!
I'll start with the food, I've tried several different items on the menu ranging from pizzas to grinders, wraps and more. Nothing has disappointed me yet, I've enjoyed every meal. The stand out to me so far being the Honey Wheat Crunchy Chicken wrap with bacon added. I look forward to trying new things each time I go to order, but I find myself keep coming back to this wrap because I enjoy it so much lol. My next favorite would probably be the Steak grinder, one of the first items I tried because a lot of people said it was also their favorite. Man, that thing was PACKED with meat and other fresh ingredients, really good and highly recommend it.
The workers have always been above and beyond kind and welcoming to me. They always greet me with a smile which is nice, makes me feel good and want to be there. Despite being a little homesick, moving as far as I have to live out here, people like this remind me that this is exactly the reason I did move as far as I have. Many people out here are very nice, and I love the small town feeling I get from Piper's.
You have a happy, satisfied and loyal...
Read moreThis an awful place. I either get diaharrea from the pizza or I get a terrible customer service from the lady and a great sandwich…can you meet me in the middle!??? It was 30$ for 2 people for two sandwiches!!! The lady made my coworker and I feel like we wasted our money and were burdens on the restaurant. Why spend money at a local shop when they treat you worse than a chain store? This is my hometown, but I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to eat here because you will either wake up, gripping your ankles on the toilet at three am from their pizza or cussing out their terrible waitresses on the way out the door. The lady who worked the counter today was the literal worst customer service person I’ve ever seen and as a small business owner, if someone treated one of my customers like that, I would fire their ass on the spot. If I could rate this place a zero I would. If you want to overpay for a crappy meal and feel like a burden to your pissed off,...
