Dockside Grill — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

I admittedly arrived 25 minutes to 4 which is their closing time. They were NOT friendly at all. We could literally hear the cook complaining and being angry about us ordering food. Dude, it’s literally why you’re there. I used to be in food service and I know it’s a pain when someone comes in late, but technically you’re supposed to service them even at 3:59 pm. If you don’t want to be personable in a STATE PARK, get a different job man. Even after spending $80 nobody was friendly. The girl brought our food outside while we were still in their store and said “we just closed I put your food outside.” You could’ve simply handed it to us and said “We’re closed now, but our outside seating is still available for you to eat at.” Customer service ain’t...

This place was a pleasant surprise. We really didn't expect much when we found out it was very understaffed today. Only one server for about 15 tables (two with 8 to 10 ppl), and he was running the register. He did a fantastic job though. It's a server's responsibility to make sure the food looks right as it comes out of the kitchen. Many times that does not happen and they blame the cooks. This server realized there was an item on the pizza that should not have been. So he had it remade. That is huge to me, as a former server myself. The fish ands chips were so flippin good! So good! The food was excellent. I had the buffalo burger and my better half had the hot beef. The beef was incredibly tender. The service was good, but could have been better.
