Tacos Ensenada Seafood — Restaurant in Altadena

Been here many several times and have not been dissapointed. Their menus is so extensive with seafood items. You can get their fish and shrimp either fried or cooked on the flat top. I usually get the fish/shrimp or combo burrito without beans and rice. Both fried or grilled seafood are great though the grilled mix shrimp/fish burrito I had was very well seasoned. I've had the mixed ceviche which was pretty tasty, I'm not a fan of their crab so I would stick with individual seafood going forward. We've had some of the traditional meat tacos and burritos which are also a solid choice. There is indoor and outdoor seating but outdoor is just off a semi-busy road. They have several soups on the menu which I plan on trying. One that really intrigues me is a manta ray soup! Will be trying some of them as the cold moves in this winter. This is my 3rd time going to dine at this location, every time I've gone there's been something wrong with my food. Old cilantro, mushy tomatoes, stale rice, and many other issues with my meals. I'm not one to sit here and bash a location but what I experienced today was the final straw. I found many pieces of raw Asada (beef) in my burrito, at first I thought it was just pieces of fat but after taking a pice out of my mouth I realized it was a completely raw piece of Asada. I called the restaurant to inform them and all they could say was for me to return and get a new burrito and I didn't even receive a simple apology, the last thing I want is another burrito after finding so many pieces of raw meat. Wow This place is the one for Fish tacos and on Tuesday there 1 dollar not only the price is good but the tacos the best i had since i came to Los Angeles and believe me i have gone to over 100 taco places, the service is the best the girls here a very nice and the portions are large, the seafood burrito is so big its for 2 people full of fish and shrimp, only $6.50 its a hidden gem here in Pasadena, you have to come its a small spot sits about 30 people but the food is super fresh dont forget TUESDAY is fish tacos for a dollar $1 and also for people that leek meat and pork its Thursdays also for a dollar all day..
