This place is under new ownership for approximately 6 months. Now called Kairos Latin Restaurant #2. This place is sparsely decorated with just a total of 8 tables with a set of 4 chairs per table and a tv. From the looks of this place, it's mainly take-out orders (as mine was), and no line waiting to order. The man behind the counter took my order efficiently, knew what he was talking about, and was very friendly.
My order was 2 orders of pupusas and 6 tamales:
Each pupusas order came with 3 pupusas filled with a revuelta mix (beans, cheese & pork), included a side of semi-pickled cabbage slaw that had a hint of spicy (I love spicy), and a tangy sauce that was totally new to me. I'm used to tomato based sauce instead. However, I wasn't mad at the sauce. 😁 As I had stopped at the grocery store on the was home, the pupusas got wilty and soggy, and didn't hold up well at all. Wasn't a fan of that and made them just meh. 😕
The tamales are a good size. The masa mix was not greasy, and the stuffing was a mix of pork and potatoes. I give thier tamales a good rating. I rate all tamales against my mom's, who had a lucrative business back home and made THE BEST tamales ever!
As there aren't many Honduran restaurants around my location, I'm not sure if I'll go back or not. However, my hunt for the better Honduran restaurant is still on.🙃

Read moreThis is the most honest opinion I’ve given on a restaurant. Oh I live not even five minutes from sazon is our restaurant when I first went there with my boyfriend they caught us everything was so cheap on the menu food came out fast and tables looked like they were consistently being cleaned but after the second and third time we went there we started realizing little things about the restaurant it’s supposed to be new but they don’t keep it clean the way they should almost all of their store items are outside near the bathroom and the tables for everybody to see along with the older women who is there five times out of the week I’ve seen her make the empanadas the last time I went there I found a short gray hair I looked at her hair to confirm that it was her the tables were sticky there was a bug on the wall. And the meat in the sandwiches tasted like soap. Honestly it’s...
