We arrived here for breakfast on a Tuesday at approximately 11:00am. There was a steady flow of customers coming in but not overly crowded. Someone promptly greeted us with menus and explained how the ordering worked. We sat at a table and decided what we wanted and then ordered at the counter. After you order you get your own coffee and the staff brings your food to your table. If you see a long line at the counter, don't be discouraged because the staff is really fast. My daughter ordered Gluten free pancakes which came out undercooked, but when she told the staff about it they were very apologetic, remade the order and gave it to her on the house. Overall we all were very happy with our experience here, the staff was so friendly and attentive that I complimented them on their service. The prices are very reasonable and I don't understand why some reviews are saying they're overpriced. I had blueberry pancakes and they were delish. We would definitely go back when we return to Conway.......* I will point out that you pay before your food arrives, and while paying with a card you will be prompted to add a tip if you'd like. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about tipping before hand, but I am soooo glad I did, the staff more than earned it and I would have felt awful if I...
Read moreDisappointed that I had to give this little cafe a 2 star but I feel as though itâs deserving. My friend and I discovered the Sweet Maple Cafe while on a weekend trip. Our first impression was that it was a cute, quaint, âNew England-yâ cafe. Parking was easy and the aroma as you walked in was amazingly sweet.
When we arrived, It appeared that there were only 2 employees working and they were trying to catch up with the orders they already had. We didnât place our order until about 15-20 minutes of standing in line. There was only one other customer in front of us. After ordering our food, it came out surprisingly very quick. The food was good, but I will say that our wraps came with an excess amount of lettuce.
We agreed to have breakfast there again the next morning given the food was good and we assumed they would have more help. When we arrived, there was longer line and still only 2 employees working; frazzled from the orders. We stood in line about 30 minutes this time, and I had bought some souvenirs for home that seemed reasonably priced. I was definitely charged about $6 more than I should have been but I guess Iâll consider it a tip.
Our breakfast was very good and had plentiful serving sizes and my coffee was delicious.
Would be the perfect nook if they had better...
Read moreThis place was adorable, quaint, and on top of what makes a great local cafe. The service was so fast despite how busy and a line out the door. I was visiting from out of town and it was a breakfast meal for my husband and myself. I loved they had great gluten free options. The toast was by far the BEST I have ever had (homemade/grilled) so so worth it! I had a cheese omelette, nothing special, it came with potatoes which unfortunetly not cooked all the way and needed to be sent back in which they microwaved the whole plate :-/ Also had a side of bacon and when food runner (btw- she was hustling and amazingly friendly and fast) looked at it as she served and saw it was completely undercooked for any bacon lover. It was returned slightly better, but still undercooked. It was busy, but undercooked food it not a good impression. The baked goods looked amazing, my husband tried the cider doughnut, said it was fresh and very flavorful. The espresso service was top-notch and the latte was a super generous size for the pricepoint! I would definitely be back if ever in town again. The GF items were a total win to end my vacay in the mountains and such a sweet place with a great message of...
