Subway — Restaurant in Cookeville

This is the third time this month I've come here I don't know why I keep coming back. Convenience I guess but it's not really a convenience it's just an aggravation I have set in the drive-through line right now for 25 minutes there is no one here but me there's two customers on the inside there is one person working here the other two experiences this month have been exactly the same the other two times I ended up driving off without getting waited on not even a simple I'll be right with you So here I sit again almost a half an hour into it I thought today I would wait it out to see if I could I'm beginning to think I can't. Why are people just having one person to work a restaurant? I know just the two times I've driven off and possibly the third one would have paid a person to work all day no telling how many other people drive off. It says on a sign on drive thru window don't wait fill out a survey bring it back and you'll get two free cookies well I've got to get waited on before I can even fill out the survey and that's not happened yet this is not the place to vent frustration about a place but obviously it is not just a one-time thing for me this is the third time and I guess I'm driving...

I arrived just before 8 PM to an empty parking lot and saw the only employee outside smoking. I would like to preface this lengthy review by apologizing for interrupting their smoke break. I am sorry. We were just hungry and Subway didn’t close until 10 PM and sounded good…at the time.

I ordered a vegetable sub for myself and I politely asked that mine be finished first before making the turkey sub. The employee began to try to make the turkey sub as the vegetable sub was toasting. I had to ask again that the vegetable sub please be finished first. The employee started putting a thin layer of spinach on my bread that was not fully baked and I noticed the spinach and lettuce looked brown, mushy, and rotten. The vegetable side of the bane was frosted over, causing multiple vegetables inside the cambros to start to wilt. Not a great day at subway today… I ordered a sandwich that was supposed to have bacon (added extra) and double cheese and was supposed to be toasted (the garlic aoli chicken something on the menu). I have a bad reaction when there’s too much sauce so I always ask for very little. The girl put plain chicken on and half the cheese (not double) and no bacon, then immediately poured the sauce on. No extra cheese and no bacon. And not toasted. And loss of sauce. I asked if it’s supposed to be toasted BEFORE the sauce and she said the toaster isn’t working, it’s only warming. So I asked if it would warm the bacon she didn’t put on or melt the double cheese she didn’t put on. She didn’t add the extra cheese and hesitantly added a single slice of bacon.
