My family tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and were very pleased. We decided to take a chance because the area is running out of fresh, non-chain, non-buffet restaurant options. In short: the service and food were excellent. We had pan-fried pot stickers (which are hard to find these days; the filling was light and they were not greasy), cheese wontons (which arrived hot and crunchy, even though they were delivered), pho (there was no complaint when we asked to substitute fried tofu for meat and the dish was excellent), noodle salad (again, no complaint when we asked to substitute pork for beef and the dish was very fresh), chicken moo goo gai pan (which had a different sauce than we would have expected, but we liked it better than what we have come to expect), and pork fried rice (which had individual grains of rice instead of the usual "clump," diced pork instead of unmanageable large strips, and lots of eggs). We have no complaints and would recommend this restaurant based on our experience tonight. Everything we had was fresh and flavorful, the food was delivered hot to our door, and every container was individually wraped to avoid leakage. And, the person who took our order on the phone and the person who delivered the food were very helpful and friendly. We are happy to put Angkor in our weekly "rotation" and are thrilled to have great, fresh, healthy food delivered to our door. Well...
Read moreI ordered the beef and potatoes the other day for delivery and specifically asked if the potatoes were thin sliced and crispy, I was told yes and they would make it extra crispy for me if i'd like. I paid around $14 for a box of soggy, thick sliced potatoes drenched in some horrid brown sauce. A total of 3 small pieces of beef in a large container. I couldn't even finish my food as it was so disgusting. I called up to the restaurant and told them that it was nothing like I was promised and there was 3 small slices of beef. I asked if there was anything he could do to help me. His response was "its stir fried and gets soft and that how we make it." I said "but there was barely any meat" his response "that's how we make it". So you make a giant box of potatoes and advertise that there's beef in it?? No apology or offer to make things right. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I will never order here again or suggest to anyone...
Read moreWent to Angkor for the first time Sunday night and let me tell you it was the worst first experience ever. I went around dinner time about 5:30 and I literally had to wait 37 mins for my $40 order. So after waiting A WHILE for my order, I got home to sit down to eat and realized that they forgot 2 of my orders of eggrolls. We ordered the Beef and broc and it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, it had no sweet flavor, the sauce just tasted so sour I never had anything like it before. So by then I was already annoyed because since I waited so long for my food I expected it to be right the first time and it wasn't. Was such a inconvenience I didn't even call back I was just so upset. When I was sitting there waiting for my food the door was also open and seen quite a few bugs fly in wasn't sure if you are allowed to have your doors open at a food place. I will never order again.Very bad customer service!Never Never...
