Dunn Brothers Coffee — Restaurant in Coon Rapids

Love Dunn Bros! Probably the best coffee in Minnesota; the Vanilla Iced Nirvana is so good I even drink it in the winter. The other coffee is great too. Don't forget about the hibiscus iced tea and the smoothies for caffeine-free options. Food here is also tasty! They've managed to make this location a cozy space that still has a fair amount of seating, with a fireplace for winter warmth and a patio for the summer. To top it all off, the staff are always friendly - I can't think of any negative experiences in the nine years I've been a customer of this location, and only one marginal experience which was probably just a new staff or they had an off day (we're all human, right?). They're a great part of the neighborhood and I hope they'll continue to be here for many more...

Sadly, since the change in management and ownership after coming here for over 10 years this location has had so many issues that I no longer will be coming here. This was the only location before change of ownership that I would come to. Now there is not even a manager on staff I called with an issue with my drink and as she was drinking it straight she tells me there is nothing wrong with the drink. As I stated I was coming there for over 10 years never and issue with my drink and today everything was wrong. So instead of owning up to the issue brushed it off as if suddenly my taste buds have changed and I was just not tasting the “coffee” in the drink purposefully. The staff here is wonderful. I accidentally ordered a drink that wasn't vegan. I called to change my pickup time and told the young lady working my name and my order. She then told me that she didn't think it was vegan, but she would look it up and give me a call back. She actually called me back and let me know that it was not a vegan drink. She then offered another option which turned out to be really good. That was amazing customer service!
