We saw this restaurant on TikTok and thought we would give it a try. Wow! Delicious fresh food. Friendly staff. We got the Chicken shawarma box. This came with a chicken shawarma cut into 4 sections. Great flavor in the chicken. If you let it sit to long the shell it comes starts to breakdown. The garlic sauce is the best I’ve tried. The fries are seasoned and delicious. Now it comes with coleslaw and I didn’t expect that to be the best I’ve ever tried. I’m a coleslaw snob I’ve never had anything better. The gentleman running the register informed us that all the products including pita is made fresh in house. We also got the beef gyro. Again super delicious. Meat was tender, flavorful and a nice amount of meat. The tahini had a great flavor. I also dipped it into the garlic sauce. We also tried their hummus. Creamy, flavorful and nice portion. The pitas were fresh soft and airy. Their falafel was fried perfectly. Great crunch on the outside with great flavors and soft on the inside. We also tried the Tabouli. Again fresh, light and flavorful! This is definitely our new Mediterranean go to restaurant in the area. From cleanliness, to staff to food quality and portions Mr. shawarma is a great addition...
Read moreThe people giving 1star reviews because the place ran out of food need to get over theirselves. As a brand-new restaurant, running out of food is actually a great sign. It means the food is good enough for word to have traveled fast in our small community, and that's saying a lot. People need to stop being Karens and realize the world doesn't revolve around them. Now, with this said, all of the good reviews on here are absolutely spot on. This is a Middle-Eastern restaurant. They specialize in Shawarma. (They do not have Gyro, that's Greek.) The menu is pretty straight forward. They have sandwich wraps, seasoned fries, dinner plates, etc. The plates take longer to cook, just fyi. The food is great. Absolutely delicious. Everything is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait a little. The guys working there are great. Super nice, and open to suggestions. The place is set up mainly for carry-out, but does have a small dining area on one side. Seating is a little tight in some spots, but it's a small place, so that's understandable. This restaurant is a great addition to our growing community, and I hope they stick around for a long time. Side note: Get the banana pudding if it's not already...
Read moreThis restaurant recently opened, and I believe it will take some time to mature. These are honest comments; I won't mention anything personal here.
There is no crockery for dine-in service, not even disposable plates, only disposable forks, spoons, and knives. The taste was okay, nothing astonishing. The combo platter's meat quantity is very limited, but the rice itself is delicious. The platter's pita was hard, like pita chips. The meat has a slightly Mediterranean taste, but I wouldn't say it's authentic.
They offer fries their secret recipe for $4, but I didn't find anything special about them (similar to Urban Skillet). The falafel is hard to chew, looks fresh but possibly overcooked.
The Kabob sandwich has limited meat, wrapped in a very thin bread (not pita but similar to paratha). The bread itself was a little cold, and I don't know the reason for the combination of cold and hot.
However, the garlic sauce was delicious and had some authenticity. The staff was welcoming, very clear about what they are selling, except for what...
