We went for my brothers birthday on Sunday. He had a party there. Friends and family enjoying time and playing games together. Until staff brings my sim to the table who’s screaming in pain holding his arm. Staff person tells us we’re not allowed to leave until a report is filled out and to come find him to fill it out. Didn’t understand as he should have brought or had us follow him. I got up took my son and left. My sister filled out the report says all they gave her was paper asked her to write my name number time and date of accident and what he hurt. No explanation of what happened nothing. Then to find out the staff person who found my son hurt was suppose to be the one running the ninja course where my son fell. He left the course with him in there went to the bumper cars got the kids waiting on the cars and started and then proceeded to leave those kids unattended and went to the restroom. Didn’t find other staff to cover the ninja course or bumper cars. Called that Monday no one could give me owner contact info or gm. Called Tuesday and the gm refused to give me any help and blamed us for my sons injury. Took no responsibility for his staff leaving either activity unattended. He then proceeded to tell me would it have even made the accident preventable if the staff was in the course we don’t follow them through the course that’s not there job. Super rude and disrespectful. I would think if someone was there they would notice him slipping off the wall or he could have voiced help I’m slipping and could have possibly prevented the accident. My son is 8yr olds with anxiety, and sensory disorders. This incident has given him a broken elbow and major depression and anger from all of this. The gm refuses to help or give me any information. He doesn’t care and he blames you for there faults!!! If I could give negative stars they would...
Read moreI was looking for a place to take an 11 year old boy who doesn’t get excited about much except for video games. It was a date with their auntie and I think it was super memorable for them. There’s a lot to do and the unlimited pass for 3 hours is plenty! (Approximately $26 something after tax.) You do get a $5 card for the video games which I reloaded only once because I wanted them to do more activities. He still got to play a bunch of games so you don’t need to add more than $10 at all unless that’s all you want to do. From the laser tag, baseball batting cage, bumper cars, mini golf and ninja course it easily filled up over 2+ hours. We didn’t do the virtual game cause we forgot-that’s an additional $6 with the pass. Honestly it’s worth it! Adults can just go in and watch the kids play with no entry fee. There’s a food area with concession options. We had a snack prior and didn’t need to eat or drink anything until it was time for lunch, but he wanted to eat somewhere else.
The location is in an old strip mall. I think they used this space wisely and it’s good to help support this business that makes kids move! Even if it is walking from one video game to another. My nephew thought they had better prizes than other places. This was both our first time and I would bring them back if they wanted to.
I will add…if the kid doesn’t want to do the Ninja course…encourage them to. Even if you have to help them. Honestly it’s rewarding to see them feel accomplished on something they weren’t inspired to do. He did it twice and had fun in the end.
(We drove from uptown - Minneapolis. It wasn’t far at all. There’s a south metro...
Read moreWe came about 5 years ago, and then didn't come back. Until yesterday we were invited to a birthday party. And I still think I won't go back. It's fine, but like not enough to be like yes let's go back.
So if you are doing a party the tables are so packed in with every other party. You can't really even get to your table or chair. You can't hear each other to the crazy loud volume. Some sound barriers would help and taking out at least, at least one table would help. No outside food. Which would be fine if they didn't over cook one of the pizzas we ordered.
The mini golf is fine, seems to be in fine shape still. However the handles are so grimmy I had to wash my hands at least twice after.
We did the play house, my 3 yr old had fun there. Some places to crawl around a bounce house and then The ball area. Load balls into the guns and can shoot them into a bigger area. Very loud over there though from the machine.
The arcade is an arcade. Totally fine. However two of the claw machines weren't working well. Fine for an arcade.
There are a few batting cages but I didn't use those.
There are bumper cars, it's a small area, something I don't think is that fun.
Laser tag area. I didn't go in so can't comment on that. But the boys kept going back to that.
There is a small ninja course, but for the extra to do it, wasn't worth it to us. But we go to ninja courses. So maybe I'm skewed there.
The whole place was extremely warm, like we were all sweating just being in the building.
The ticket booth exchange area is fine. It's...
