No. 1 Wok — Restaurant in Cooper City

Everything tasted bland, I didn't even think that was possible. I ordered dumplings thinking it was a rather simple dish, but the pork filling had a strange after taste; even finding crunchy white bits inside. The heck? Ordered the shrimp fried rice and might as well asked for slightly uncooked white rice. Being under cooked and bland, the only thing that seemed real in that dish were the few pieces of tiny shrimp scattered inside. Then lastly, the string beans. This had a little bit of flavor. Like the cook was adding a pinch of salt, then a bunch of food coloring to it. The string beans were overcooked and mushy, to the point that the beans inside were softer than peaches. Over all, place is horrible. This wasn't just once I experienced this, went two more times trying to give them a better chance. Same results, every time. Word to the wise, don't waste your money here, because this place is not cheap. I was recommended this place by a couple of friends, but know now that this place will only be good for there dumb bobba/ bubble teas. If you want real authentic Chinese food, I highly recommend "Silver Pond". Best place I've ever eaten. Or if you just want better flavor I would recommend "Panda Express" or McDonald's". The food is delicious in comparison to some of the other places I've eaten at since moving to Florida. The customer service has improved throughout the years I've been going here which has been for about 15 or so years.

They do have some things I think they can improve on, one is when an order is over 25 dollars at least provide a free can of soda for each 25 dollars spent (example an order of $25 1 can of soda, $50 2 cans of soda, $75 3 cans of soda etc), especially when you have repeating customers.

The price of everything is super high and a kind jester is always remembered and can improve business...

They gave me reheated Bourbon chicken that wasnt even fully reheated. The broccoli in it had a taste/consistency that lead to believe it must have been made days ago and the Lo Mien was in a box that seemed like it had had Lo Mien siting in it hours prior to me getting ther considering it the Lo Mien liquid had seeped through the box and stained it. Also the cups they put their Boba Tea in are flimsy. If it drops a foot and a half it will essentially explode and there will be no boba tea left for you to drink. Dont eat from here, only get their boba. And if you get their boba be very careful...
