Deli staff is extremely rude. I plan on driving out to Medina from now on to get our weekly Boar's Head order. We we in on Saturday evening, at 6:41 pm, I checked their closing time online before I went and at the door, both say they close at 9 pm. I started to tell the woman in the deli our order and she was very overwhelmed, and almost seemed like she was on something. She started making comments like, "Oh, is there a blizzard coming?" because of the amount I was getting, she also said "you can just go walk around because this order is going to take me a hot minute". We told her it was fine, we didn't mind waiting, we ordered 1 lb each of two kinds of turkey, mild swiss cheese, and corned beef(which she called corned beast, very weird) and 1/2 lb each of salami, ham, and roast beef( or beast) I understand this is not a tiny order, but this woman was insane with her non stop comments. She would've been done more quickly if she could just focus on what I was saying. At one point she held up baby swiss that she had cut, and said you wanted baby swiss right? I had told her mild swiss, so I told her again. I also said sandwhich cut on everything was fine, but she literally held up each meat asking if the cut was good. Her attitude was horrible, very annoying passive aggressive and unnecessary comments. Finally, at 7:06 our order was done, and again, I do not mind waiting, it was the ridiculous comments and attitude. I asked if they had their deli pickles, and the cashier was over and said, "The deli closed at 7pm, they are put away." She is typically rude and disorganized in the deli too. I said, "Oh, sorry, nevermind we will just take these". No where does it say that the deli closes at 7pm, so had that been posted I would've come back Tuesday. The woman in the deli said "oh, no, You have to have pickles!" So she packaged them up for us, even though I had told her no, twice, and proceeded to make more comments about how I must love pickles so much! Seriously, if I wasn't concerned this woman was on something and her comments weren't so rude, it would've been comical because it was such a cluster. I will just drive the 30 minutes to Buehlers from now on, to not put up...
Read moreHit and Miss. Called in for take out and ordered the Italian. It was one of the best I ever had. I noticed when I was there they also offered the Italian in the “to go” case. Stopped in a few days later and grabbed the Italian out of the case along with two cheese spreads and several other items. The Italian was inedible, the bread hard and the toppings mushy. It had seen better days. In checking the date, we also checked the sell by date of the cheeses we bought. Both cheese spreads were past the sell by date by 5 days. Nonetheless, I loved that first Italian so much I figured I’d give them a third try. I called in the order as I had the first time. It was apparent that someone just grabbed that sub from the to go case and sold that to me. Again, bread was hard, really hard, lettuce wilted and overall it was lousy. For the price, which is steep the food should be fresh. Definitely not up to the same standards Beau’s Grille holds. We won’t be back to the market...
Read moreWent for the first time yesterday and the food was amazing when we finally got it. It was a very frustrating experience as a whole though. When my wife and I walked in multiple workers looked at us, but never addressed us. We stood by the cash register for a few minutes and one person told us to sit wherever we'd like and they'd be with us. We chose to sit on the patio as it was beautiful out. We sat down and, no exaggeration, we were not so much as even looked at for 20 minutes. We got up and moved tables to a table that was dirty where people just left from inside and immediately got service. I am not sure we'll be back as it was very frustrating and chaotic. Keep this in mind if you are going for the first time. It was a very...
